Meet Ryan Hale | Videographer, Talk Show Host & Podcast Host

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Hale and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ryan, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson I’ve learned thus far as an entrepreneur is that true faith is tested in times of uncertainty. I always knew I was capable of starting a business and doing the work, but the hard part was figuring out how I would grow the business and maintain it successfully. Once I began the business and started facing different challenges I was faced with a decision. I could either push past the hurdles or give up and go back to a regular nine to five job. In that moment I realized that I must have faith in myself and never forget that I am already equipped with the skills and tools I need to be successful. Most importantly I understand that I must maintain my faith in God. He has never failed to provide for me. Though my faith was challenged, I grew through this journey and learned how to thrive as an entrepreneur. Never lose your faith.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At the top of this year I decided to start not one, but two new business ventures. One was a videography and production company, Bring 2 Life Media and the other a talk show, Mental Notes Live. Bring 2 Life Media has been a tremendous blessing because it has allowed me to pair my love of storytelling and videography with my love for people. This business has inspired me to bring some incredible visions to life using creative videography and outstanding production work. From music videos to wedding recaps to brand testimonials, I have had the opportunity to work and create with very talented people in Phoenix and I have loved every minute of it. My talk show Mental Notes Live allows me to highlight outstanding entrepreneurs and artists in the Phoenix area. The show focuses on conversations with business owners that provide tools to develop faith, mindset, and encourage progress. Musical talents showcase their skills with live musical performances. You simply must experience Mental Notes Live. This year has definitely been a grind but truly a blessing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Whenever my best friends are in town I have to take them to some of my favorite restaurants in town starting with The Living Room for brunch and followed by Spinato’s for some amazing pizza for lunch. We definitely make sure to go check out the Phoenix Suns at The Footprint Center and have some fun escaping a new room at Escape Room AZ. Those are some of my favorite go-to spots here in the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to shoutout the best support system I could have ever dreamed of. From my two amazing sisters, Kristin and Megan, to my encouraging parents, Joy and Chris. All four of you have had my back, pushed me to grow and cheered for me along the way. I love you all so much and I wouldn’t be here without you all. Shoutout to my reliable friends, Xavier, Bryan, Gabby, Woody, Malcolm and Martin for all of your encouragement, guidance and support along the way. Also a special thanks to my amazing client Kelly for setting up this opportunity with The Shoutout Series.
