We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrina Loyer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabrina, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?

I used to define success by how many followers I had or clients I got. As if my hard work and performance defined how much I deserved in return.  It took me 3 burnouts, therapy, and coaching to realize the truth; I didn’t believe I would ever measure up. I wasn’t worthy of success. As much as I tried to reach towards it, it would never be attainable…

Success now looks like being joyful and rested.
If I’ve done my daily habits and practices in order for me to stay aligned then I’ve succeeded.
No matter what I do, how I show up, or how many clients I get what matters most to me is that I am aligned.
If I’m aligned then my life will be aligned.

This may sound crazy but ever since I chose to let go of control… I doubled and even tripled my revenue.
All because of my new definition of success.

Joy & rest.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Long before I became a creative coach I struggled with the idea that I was even creative. I only wished for the kind of practices I now embody and the lessons I now teach.
This is why In parts I’ve formed my program for the younger me who never had this kind of training.
For the ones who feel lost, triggered and even tormented by their desire to show up yet unwillingness to take the leap.

Along the path toward building my business I have today. I fell into 3 separate burnouts which lead me to further understand the capacity social media has to break and hinder people’s authenticity and identity. This is why the foundation of my program centers around personal alignment. A house that is built on sand will never last but a house that is built upon a solid rock will endure forever. My clients get to build a foundation for themselves to operate from a place of health and alignment for themselves and their businesses.

Most of my clients come to me from a place of burnout or misalignment.
They either tried to show up their own way and failed, are leaning towards burnout, or just coming out of a place of burnout wanting to show up and shine and yet have no idea how to do so.
These are women who either already show up online or don’t, yet all end up shining and blossoming like beautiful flowers during and after my program.

I’m thankful that my coaching journey didn’t start any earlier than it did. As I believe that having learned what I did has helped form me, even more, to show up healthier for myself and my clients. All thanks to those who have taken the time to form and fill me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

I love my quaint little town of  Old La Prairie, Qc. It’s just outside of Montreal one of the biggest metropolitans of Canada.

I’d first have them take a tour of La Prairie and show them around the historic sights and resto’s in the area.
Of course, I’d have them taste a delicious croissant from my favorite pastry shop as we stroll down the side of the Saint Lawrence River. Then, I’d bring them into Montreal to taste the delicious cultural flavors we have around town. Banh mi, poutine ( of course ), Ma Poule mouillé and indian food.

I’d finish off the tour by taking them into the Eastern Townships, Magog or Sutton. One of the most relaxing and beautiful spots south of Montreal.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
1. I could not be where I am today without my relationship with Jesus. He is the one that guides my steps and aligns my path.
My business and what I’ve accomplished could never have happened without His many miracles and provision along the way. He truly set my path straight, lead me to the perfect mentors, and provided me with the best clients I could ask for.

2. My husband Olivier Loyer.
He has never given up on me.
He has been my rock through my years of self-discovery, creativity, burnout, and entrepreneurship.
When I thought I had given up on my dreams once and for all he never did.
I’m beyond blessed.

3. My coach and mentor Sarah Shreves.
I credit her to this very blooming season I’m in.
Her guidance and wisdom have sharpened me into who I know I’m called to be but never knew how to become.
My gratitude for her and her program Founder’s Essence is unmatched.
