We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Candia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As a family, we wanted to grow and be financially stable. I came up with the idea of starting a business. We decided to invest our savings to be able to start something new, something different. We came into agreement that renting tables/chairs would be the way to go., little did we know we were also going to be purchasing inflatables to go alongside the tables and chairs.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
This is a tough question to answer. We work with inflatables, tables and chairs. The challenges we face are learning how to be organized, at the beginning we struggled to know who would do what. We had to learn that assigning roles would be the best decision to make. We have learned that being in any type of disagreement brings a lot of confusion and lack of unity, lots of arguments. Family’s are not perfect and I believe this business has helped us come closer and understand one another.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My daughters for being patient and extremely hardworking. We all work as a team as this is a female ran businesses. It’s always a struggle getting up early in the morning but it always pays off.
