We had the good fortune of connecting with Emily Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emily, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my law firm to offer personalized and accessible estate and special needs planning services. My aim was to create a practice that aligns with how I want to work with professionals—transparent, accessible, and accommodating. That’s why we offer flat fees, flexible payment plans, and Saturday hours to make high-quality legal guidance attainable for everyone.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At Emily R. Taylor, Attorney, PLLC, we aim to be an integral part of our community in Arizona. Our focus in Estate Planning and Special Needs Planning allows us to serve a segment of our community often overlooked or underserved by traditional legal practices. Our mission is to provide accessible, empathetic, and specialized care to families and individuals navigating estate and special needs issues.

What sets us apart is our unique approach. We aim to remove barriers by offering flexible options like flat fees, payment plans, and Saturday hours. Our clients aren’t just cases; they’re our neighbors, friends, and community members. It’s not just about paperwork and legalities; it’s about providing a peace of mind and ensuring a more secure future for those with special needs and their families.

The journey to where we are now wasn’t without its challenges. Building a focused firm required not just legal expertise but also a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families impacted by disability. To enhance my skills and offer the best services, I actively sought mentorship, attended specialized training, and fostered connections within the community.

Among the most valuable lessons learned along the way is the power of community. I’m grateful for the incredible network of supportive and inspiring female attorney colleagues who have championed me in this journey. We’ve built a circle of trust and mentorship that has shown me that in law, and in life, there is abundant room for everyone to succeed.

What I want the world to know is that our firm is committed to being more than just a service provider; we aim to be a community resource.
