We had the good fortune of connecting with Anaiz Zambrano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anaiz, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always dreamed of owning my own business. Growing up, I watched my parents explore different entrepreneurial paths, and that left a lasting impression on me. I admired their drive, creativity, and the freedom that came with building something of their own. That planted the seed early on—I knew I wanted to create something that was mine, something that reflected my passions and values.

When I stepped into the world of skincare and wellness, everything clicked. I realized there was a space for a business that combined holistic healing with corrective skincare, and I wanted to fill that gap. My thought process was simple: I didn’t just want to offer treatments, I wanted to build an experience—one rooted in self-love, healing, and transformation. That’s what inspired me to take the leap and create Sol Aesthetics.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sol Aesthetics is a holistic skincare studio rooted in intention, transformation, and self-love. What sets my business apart is the way I blend corrective skincare with spiritual healing; every treatment is more than just surface-level care; it’s a full mind-body-soul experience. From Hydrafacials and post-op lymphatic care to Gua Sha facials, Reiki, and sound therapy, each service is customized not just to the client’s skin, but to their energy, their emotions, and their needs in that moment.

One of the things I’m most proud of is staying true to my vision even when it didn’t fit into the mold of a “traditional spa.” I wanted to create a space where people feel seen, safe, and empowered, especially those who have struggled with self-image or felt like their skincare journey didn’t fit the norm. And today, my studio reflects that: a sacred space where clients leave feeling lighter, more radiant, and more in love with themselves.

Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. In fact, within the first few months of opening, I was hit with a lawsuit that lasted two years. It shook me to my core and made me question everything. But through prayer, intuition, and the support of my loved ones, I pushed forward. That experience taught me resilience, discernment, and the importance of trusting the path even when it’s rocky.

What I want the world to know is that Sol Aesthetics is more than skincare, it’s a movement. A reminder that healing is possible, that beauty comes from within, and that your story; no matter how unconventional, is worthy of being honored. My mission is to help others age gracefully, correct what no longer serves them, and embrace the beauty of their journey, one ritual at a time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d want them to experience the very best of what Arizona has to offer—mind, body, and soul. First stop? Sol Aesthetics, of course. I’d give them the full treatment—one of my signature facials infused with Reiki, crystal work, and all the healing vibes. I believe everyone deserves to feel restored and radiant from the inside out, so it’s the perfect way to kick off the trip.

Next, we’d escape to Sedona for a few days of grounding and connection. We’d do a sound bath meditation, explore the energy vortexes, and spend time shopping at the beautifully curated Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. For dinner, Mariposa is a must, stunning views, incredible food, and the perfect blend of earthy elegance.

We’d spend a day hiking some of my favorite Arizona trails like Devil’s Bridge and the Seven Sacred Pools, soaking up the natural beauty and spiritual energy that the desert so effortlessly offers.

Back in town, I’d take them to my family’s restaurant in Gilbert, Rio Rico Mexican Grill. Not only do they have some of the best food around, but the margaritas are unmatched and the vibe is always welcoming. We’d end the nights with rooftop drinks in downtown Phoenix or cozy nights under the stars, because Arizona has some of the clearest skies for stargazing.

Whether it’s spa days, soulful adventures, great food, or just deep conversations in beautiful places, the goal would be simple: rest, recharge, and make unforgettable memories.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely! my journey wouldn’t be what it is without the support and love of the people around me. First and foremost, I have to thank my partner. He has always believed in me, even when he didn’t fully understand my vision at first. His steady encouragement has kept me grounded through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.

My parents also deserve a huge shoutout. They’ve always pushed me to keep going and reminded me that I’m capable of building the life I desire. Their support gave me the courage to follow through on my dreams.

And I can’t forget my best friend, Nancy. She was right there with me in the very beginning; cheering me on, offering her energy, and standing in my corner when I needed her the most. Having people like that in your life makes all the difference.

Their belief in me has fueled my belief in myself, and I’m endlessly grateful for each of them.
