Meet Jackeline Ibarra | Agency Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jackeline Ibarra and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jackeline, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I like educating people on finances and insurance. I see a need to focus on the financial services industry around the Hispanic market. This clientele doesn’t have enough financial education.
I also find it easier to obtain an underperforming business and make it fruitful which is why I prefer to buy small insurance agencies and grow them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Building More Than a Business—Building a Legacy
When I first started in the insurance industry, I thought I was simply helping people find the right policy. Over time, I realized that what people truly needed wasn’t just insurance—they needed someone they could trust to help them make informed financial decisions and protect everything they had worked so hard to build.
That realization is what led me to create Estrella Business Solutions Group.
Today, we’re much more than an insurance agency. We help individuals, families, and business owners with auto, home, commercial, life insurance, retirement planning, bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, business incorporations, and many other services designed to simplify business ownership and create long-term financial security. Our mission is simple: to become a trusted partner that helps our clients build, protect, and grow their future.
What truly sets us apart is that we don’t believe in selling products—we believe in solving problems.
Many business owners don’t realize they’re overpaying for insurance, missing valuable tax-saving opportunities, or operating without the proper financial systems in place. Instead of offering one solution, we look at the entire picture. We ask questions, educate our clients, and build strategies that make sense for their personal and business goals. We want every client to leave our office feeling more confident than when they walked in.
My journey certainly wasn’t easy.
Like many entrepreneurs, I faced uncertainty, setbacks, long hours, and moments where I questioned whether I was making the right decisions. Building a business requires wearing every hat imaginable—salesperson, marketer, customer service representative, accountant, recruiter, and leader—all at the same time. There were days that felt overwhelming, but I refused to let obstacles define the outcome.
I’ve always believed that challenges aren’t roadblocks; they’re opportunities to grow. Every mistake taught me something valuable. Every difficult conversation made me a better leader. Every setback forced me to become more resilient and more resourceful.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success doesn’t happen alone.
I’ve been fortunate to learn from mentors, surround myself with talented people, and build a team that genuinely cares about serving others. Leadership isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating an environment where people can grow, succeed, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Another lesson I’ve learned is that relationships will always matter more than transactions.
Anyone can sell a policy or prepare a tax return, but earning someone’s trust is completely different. We treat our clients like family because we understand that behind every business, every policy, and every financial decision is a person with dreams, responsibilities, and people depending on them.
What I’m most proud of isn’t just the growth of my business—it’s the lives we’ve been able to impact along the way. Whether we’re helping a family protect their future with life insurance, assisting a small business owner with bookkeeping and payroll, saving a client money on insurance, or helping someone prepare for retirement, we know our work makes a real difference.
As we continue to grow, my vision is much bigger than building a successful company. I want Estrella Business Solutions Group to become a place where people find solutions, education, and hope. I want entrepreneurs to know they don’t have to figure everything out alone. I want families to understand the importance of planning ahead. And I want my team to know that together we’re creating opportunities that can change lives for generations.
If there’s one thing I hope people remember about me and my brand, it’s this:
I genuinely care.
I care about helping people succeed. I care about doing business the right way. I care about creating opportunities for others. And I believe that when you lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and never stop learning, success naturally follows.
My story is still being written, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. Every challenge has prepared me for the next chapter, and I look forward to continuing to serve our Arizona community while helping more families and businesses build a stronger financial future.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to Arizona for a week, there would be no question where we’d spend most of our time—**Sedona**. It’s my favorite place in Arizona because it has the perfect combination of breathtaking scenery, adventure, amazing food, and peace. Every time I go, I feel like I can reset and appreciate how beautiful our state really is.
Our trip would start with a scenic drive up to Sedona, stopping along the way to enjoy the views. Once we arrived, we’d head straight to **Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village**, one of my favorite places. We’d either have dinner at the Mexican restaurant or enjoy lunch at the charming French café. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else—beautiful architecture, local art, great food, and live music if we’re lucky. It’s one of those places where you can easily spend hours just walking around and taking it all in.
One day would definitely be dedicated to the **Pink Jeep Tour**. I own a Jeep myself, so I’ve always loved off-roading and exploring Arizona’s rugged landscapes. Riding through Sedona’s famous red rocks is an experience everyone should have at least once.
Another day would be all about getting outdoors. We’d go kayaking and enjoy Arizona from the water. I love finding ways to stay active while enjoying nature, and kayaking is one of the most relaxing ways to experience the beauty of the state.
Of course, no Arizona itinerary would be complete without a trip to the **Grand Canyon**. No matter how many pictures you’ve seen, nothing compares to standing on the edge and seeing it in person. It’s one of those places that reminds you just how incredible nature can be.
The rest of the week would be a mix of exploring Sedona’s hiking trails, shopping at local boutiques, enjoying coffee while overlooking the red rocks, watching the sunset from one of Sedona’s scenic overlooks, and simply slowing down enough to enjoy the moment.
What I love most about Arizona is that you can have so many different experiences in one trip. You can spend the morning on an outdoor adventure, enjoy incredible local restaurants in the afternoon, and finish the day watching one of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll ever see.
People often ask me why Sedona is my favorite place, and my answer is always the same: every time I visit, I leave feeling inspired, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next trip.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
my father has always been my inspiration for what I do. He brought us to this country from Colombia because he knew we would have exposure to greater and better opportunities.
Today he is 70 years old and spends his retirement days back in Colombia, but we are in daily communication about our plans here to expand the business.
I’m eternally grateful for my husband and his support because without his help over the past 30 years, I couldn’t have done what I have done in my career and how far we have come with our businesses.
My boys have seen the student, the worker and their mom over the years. I have sacrificed time with them to be able to grow into the person I am today. They don’t complaint about me being absent but instead gracefully understand and admire me.
