We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Jagodzinski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mark, what do you attribute your success to?
In a world where everything is now built on technology, I feel we have been able to utilize that technology to help expand our brand, but still build it on time honored traditions of trust, honesty, and family-based business practices. With technology, the world has gotten smaller, but our ability to interact on a meaningful, personal level has suffered because we have become so dependent on technology to facilitate those interactions with our patient base. We pride ourselves on offering a family-like environment, where everyone who walks through the door feels welcome and capable of achieving their goals for recovery with the facilitation of evidence-based, patient-centric care.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I like to tell my patients I have “street cred”. I started off as patient my senior year of high school after suffering a devastating knee injury that altered my life forever, but in a great way because it led me down this path of wanting to become a PT. After a successful college athletic career, and being accepted into my PT graduate school program, I completed my Doctorate in 2001. Unfortunately, due to my athletic career i ended up having 8 knee surgeries, and have also had a couple of spine surgeries in addition to multiple other orthopedic injuries. All this has better prepped me to be empathetic to the needs of my patients, while at the same time giving them an example through my own behaviors as to what needs to happen to take care of yourself.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would be out on the golf course at Wickenberg Ranch, my favorite golf course here locally. I love supporting local restaurants, in particular local brewhouses. As a small business owner, i enjoy supporting other small businesses.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Jordan Trask at Pre-Focus Solutions was instrumental in helping us bring our vision to reality, from tweaking our brand logo…which I am very proud of…to helping us achieve a high profile locally as a completely new business. He was a former patient of mine and helped me translate my passion for my profession into reality.
