How did you come up with the idea for your business?

Our community is comprised of some absolutely brilliant entrepreneurs and so we asked a few of them to tell us the story of how they came up with the ideas for their business.
Pretty simple really – my dad asked me to make him a ski rack which wouldn’t alter the shape of his new AT (Alpine Touring) skis while they were being stored. I went out into our shop where all of our skis were piled into one corner, looked at the wall opposite it which was full of brooms, shovels, and rakes all nicely organized and hanging via traditional ‘handle hooks’. Surprisingly, the answer to this question is actually quite simple. We both have a strong passion for traveling coupled with passions for videography and photography. If you put these three things together you get a travel content creator. As we were both about to graduate from Arizona State University in 2020, with requirements for more schooling based on our degrees, we realized that more school was the complete opposite of what we actually wanted. So, we had a discussion, realized these shared passions, and acted upon them, leaving to travel full-time only a few months later. Read more>>
I am the CEO of Top Event Planners (2004) and Top Resume Coaches (2021). The idea of both business came from my family and friends that I was serving. I planned my very first event at age 9 and the same project management skill set I use as a NASA Engineer, I utilize when creating, designing and executing events.
