Meet Brandy Pierce | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandy Pierce and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandy, how does your business help the community?
The Repurposing Diva manages the re-homing of items that have outlasted their stay in one home but have plenty of life left for another. I’ve sold everything from Nike Air Jordan’s to furniture, vehicles and, of all things, a golf cart as well as many other things in between!
I like to think this offers a chance for people to make a few bucks selling or save a few bucks buying; all while doing their bit for the environment by avoiding the time wastage and environmental impact of the traditional retail sales process.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Founder and Principal of ‘The Repurposing Diva’; a boutique, one stop, online shop for people seeking a new home for their furniture and home goods.
The Repurposing Diva is an eco friendly and financial advantageous approach to home decor, our clients understand the value of re-homing furniture and home goods that have outlasted their time in one home but have plenty of life left for a repurposed role in a new home.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A weekend stay at ‘Adero Scottsdale Resort’ in Fountain Hills, which would include a day at the spa after a hike on the many trails of Scottsdale Mountain, is something I do myself. Or you can do something as simple as a picnic at the Fountain Park to capture the hourly display of the iconic Fountain Hills Fountain and still make a great memory (my hometown!).
A day trip to Prescott to enjoy a hike in the cooler mountain air with lunch at the Barley Hound with coffee and cake afterwards at ‘Founding Fathers Collective’ (they also have the largest tap room in town as well as a barber shop, gym and local trinkets).
A visit to ‘Hot Yoga University’ in Scottsdale is an ABSOLUTE must!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my clients; that, I’m proud to say, is a list of much loved and appreciated friends, family and their all important referrals. If I didn’t have this base and their trust, I would not have ‘The Repurposing Diva’.
They’ve all entrusted me with the handling of all kinds of property, with this reference to ‘handling’ including determination of appropriate offer prices, the negotiation of final sale prices and the all important delivery of all sales proceeds …having that kind of trust is appreciated more than I can explain.
