Meet Claudia-Sam Cataford Sauvé | Soul Connection Coach / Tune-In Method

We had the good fortune of connecting with Claudia-Sam Cataford Sauvé and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Claudia-Sam, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
When I worked in media and events for more than 10 years, I would segment my life in categories: work + life. I would wake up, take my phone and look at my emails. I would hurry outta bed and into work-mode. When at work, I would not take any family or friend calls until it was no longer regular 9-5 work hours. When the work day was “over”, I would find a way to still work so that I could prove myself to my employers and clients.
I wasn’t in a romantic relationship, I had bad digestion, and I thought meditation and yoga was boring.
This life & work ethic was not serving my higher Self. It was only draining my energy and pulling me farther away from who I am here to be.
When I burned out, a few years before I started my coaching business, my body forced me to recognize the signs I hadn’t seen. I had to slow down, be with my emotions, learn to be in the present moment, and detach from the “doing more” mindset.
I now think of work/life balance as something that is always ongoing. My business is my life, and my life is my business.
And as a Soul Connection Coach who now is a present-moment paddle-board lover who works with people who want to tune-in and grow from within, my wellbeing is my priority.
The balance is like the breath, it’s always giving and receiving.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m pretty much a “jumping in the unknown” master as I left my corporate career without a plan.
As a Soul Connection Coach, I offer online and in-person support for people who wish to tune-in and grow from within using my Tune-In method.
I’m here to inspire people to access their inner confidence and be in their Light so that they can live a life they are worthy of, in alignment with what their Soul wants for them (outside of what society thinks is good for them).
I have more than 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Trainings & courses from all over the world (Canada, US, Europe, Indonesia, Nepal, New Zealand). I lived in an ashram in Nepal and I have taught to hundreds of people in Canada, Europe, Nepal and New Zealand. I also have a Communications Bachelors Degree & 34 years of life experience, most recently seeking growth and facing emotions to live a most authentic life.
I use my intuition to make decisions so the Tune-In method was created to help you do the same so that you can live life in alignment with your passion and purpose.
The foundation of the Tune-In program is good for:
1. Learning to recognize healing needs from the body
2. Releasing the inner mean chatter of the mind
3. Surfing the waves of emotions in a loving way

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would start by paddle boarding on the lake at the end of my street, taking in the mountain views and being in the presence of each other’s company. On some mornings, we would share a meditative space together to be in each others’ energies. We would go to the best little vegan restaurant in town, and eat outside in the garden. At some point during the week, we’d take the dogs out for a walk in the mountain, and use my best essential oils bug spray. We would probably go to the local yoga studio for a Yin Yoga class and pair it up with some more sun bathing. I would take my friend to a local winery for bubbly on a sunny day and have them taste the local ciders too. If we want to take the 1.5 hours drive into the big city, we’d go to my favourite vegan sushi restaurant or get Mexican’d up and drink spicy/salty margaritas (and eat a bunch of guacamole).

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The level of involvement that I choose to have in my business and in my Self growth is expanding thanks to the financial and emotional support of my 10+ year boyfriend Pierre-Michel. Having someone who believes in me and who shares my vision through the harder times of growing a business as much as in the bigger celebratory moments is a gift.
I am grateful to have received financial support to start my business from my grandfather.
Also, my coaches, mentors and therapist Christine, Mel, Jenni, Susan, Lisa and Kaela who hold space for me, believe in me and help me step into the already-successful being that I am.
My supportive team members Jenni and Jeannie, and my entrepreneur peers Joanne, Lisa M. and Nicole.
And lastly, my amazing clients whom I get to witness trusting themselves time and time again.
If you’re curious about some of my clients’ success stories, I invite you to go binge-watch some videos on my website.
