We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Henderson Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
Moving away from family! Leaving home, home base, the place I know best, where I’ve grown up. Just to get away from things holding me back and to begin my career.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
So I’ve been through a lot growing up, especially medically. Not to go super deep but I have had surgery’s and I have a disease that restricts me from doing a lot of things others have done. I’ve tried to find what I can do and how I can go about finding a career that I can be successful and still love my life! So I found real estate. Leaving the trades such as welding, construction and services like that to chase my dream.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit we would be going to absolutely any and all BBQ places we could find!!!!!! Anywhere that has bacon, we’re visiting! We would also be visiting car shows, top golf, Phoenix raceway, anything with cars. Cars and bacon, the world needs nothing else.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d have to shoutout my grandparents (Fred and Elaine Wilson) and my wife (Kelanie Henderson) These three, especially my grandfather, gave me the patience and the know how to keep going, push to what I want to truly be in life.
