We had the good fortune of connecting with Steve and Jenny (TripNdive) Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Steve and Jenny (TripNdive), what do you want people to remember about you?
We try to bring happiness wherever we go. By finding lost items and getting them back to people there is this joy that is felt between us and them. We don’t know these people, but there is life long connection made.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We find lost items while scuba diving, find the owners and get them back to the owners. We video the whole process and create a video for YouTube. We also create shirts, stickers and hats from our scuba diving adventures. Each design is original and taken from the pictures we take.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If it’s summer, we would load up our kayaks and paddle boards and take a trip down the Salt River. We would show them the beautiful wild horses that line the river. Our next adventure would be scuba diving in Lake Pleasant where we would show them a few underwater surprises. Another favorite thing to do- more in the spring time or fall would be to hike the Superstition Mountains or Camelback Mountain. The desert views are spectacular! If you are in Arizona, you must try the authentic Mexican food. Mangos, Boca Taqueria, Mi Amigos are a few favorites. Other favorite places are small family owned restaurants. A few are; Back Yard Taco, Jalapeño Bucks and Mangos. There are so many choices of great places to eat. 

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to give a shout out to Chris Turnage for helping get us scuba certified. Also, Dallas, from the YouTube Channel Man Plus River. He helped mentor us in our efforts to get our channel started.
