Meet Daniel Diaz | Owner of D&V Landscaping Services

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniel, what inspires you?
We are inspired by being able to be the source of income of so many hardworking people and them being able to bring food to their tables. We are inspired by the smiles on a customer’s face after we are done with a project and they see the beautiful results. We are inspired by the stories we get of our customers and using their new spaces, by them creating memories and being so thankful for being a part of those changes.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an immigrant couple in a country of a foreign language and culture, adjusting has been one of our challenges. Daniel started out with just a small truck and soon realized that seeing our satisfied customers brought joy and meaning to his life. Veronica is added years later to combine their skills together to provide a better service.
Talking about the reasons why we do Landscaping is because we are simply passionate about beautifying spaces while creating a little piece of heaven in the gardens.
We have been serving the Tucson community for 13 years and it has been a privilege to see how we can, through our maintenance service, create spaces and construction, we can support individuals and families to create memories and better moments in their gardens together with the people who enjoy
Listening to birthday stories, a relaxed morning while enjoying a cup of coffee, watching the sunset while the children play in safe spaces from the comfort of their garden, is why we serve our community every day.
Together with our team we live the values that represent us, respect, trust, honesty and fair treatment together with a quality service is what distinguishes us and has kept us in the market growing day by day, we select our staff meticulously Being people who live our mission and vision every day.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are a lot of places I would take them. Here in Tucson, we have the beautiful national reserve park “Sahuaro National Park” which I feel no one ever visits but no one should miss it. Hiking offers beautiful sunrises, sunsets and spectacular views. If you want to feel like you are going back in time, we have Old Tucson, where you can find a Western movie studio which is really fun too.
You may already know of Trail Dust Town, a recreation of an old small town where you can enjoy a place for your children or eat one of the most delicious steaks I’ve ever tried while having a unique experience.
The Arizona Desert Museum of Art is a must, the Pima air and space museum is a very unique experience as well.
I would also take them to visit San Xavier del Bac.
If the person visiting wants a more open nature experience, I would take them to Mount Lemon.
To eat, there are a bunch of places that I like so we would be covered for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between, going to places like Sonoran style hot dogs, Guero canelo, brother johns, teaspoon, Prep & Pastry, seis kitchen or Tohono chull gardens.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shoutout to the hardworking people and great employees that we have, to the clients that have seen this business grow throughout the years and not only have they stayed with us, but they have helped us grow. Also to our beautiful family that keeps pushing us to become better; Better employees, better business owners, better people.
