We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica sodhi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is an essential aspect of life, and it is present in almost every decision we make, from small daily choices to significant life-changing ones.

By taking risks, such as experimenting with new content formats or controversial topics, they can capture the attention of their audience and encourage them to engage with their content. Risk-taking can also help content creators and social media managers create a unique brand identity and stand out from competitors.

if you do not step out of your comfort zone, you won’t find how green the grass is on the other side. Their are so many new ways people have start to comprehend content in a way and taking risks shows how confident you are the content you produce and your choices

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is mainly the work that I produce from the shoots and my campaign deals I have with the beauty and fashion industry, I get so excited when I get to put my knowledge, talent and skills into action. I have been influencing for the past 5 years, with experience In beauty, fashion and lifestyle content. I get so excited to put all the pieces together to create something visually educational and appealing. The purpose of content creation is to reach audiences in a a way that is impactful enough for them to even engage and acknowledge your content. The authenticity and honestly I bring to my work and audience is what sets me apart of my audience.

It was definetly not an an overnight happy ending. It took time, consistency, patience and most importantly gratitude. I was always thankful for the small milestones that I hit was the people who were mesmerized by my work. I actually ended up getting my instagram hacked that I worked so hard to build, I felt like giving up heavily because I thought I would never grow it up and I would never get brand deals. But my audience was so loyal to me, kept me going and showed me so much love this past year.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A huge credit would go to my mom, she has always supported me throughout my crazy decsions and led my way through this journey, motivating me to never give up. The modelling industry is very slow when you first start, which comes with a lot of criticism and no’s. I faced it, she helped me talk myself through it and realize my worth.
