We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrieanna Gaston and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrieanna, why did you pursue a creative career?
It’s difficult to say exactly why I chose to pursue a creative career other than it makes me happier than anything else I’ve done. I have always been a naturally creative person, from drawing, to makeup and fashion, to event planning. There is something beautiful about taking a dream or an idea and bringing it to life before your eyes. So when I finally realized I could create a sustainable and fulfilling career doing what I love, why not put everything into it?

I have so many passions in different fields and a list of things I want to do, learn and explore. I have no plans of slowing down.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I began modeling around age 13/14 and was signed to an agency here in Phoenix. There is something so exhilarating about being on the runway or in front of the camera. At that point I completely fell in love and I knew it was something I needed to have throughout my life. So, once I graduated from GCU (literally 2 weeks later lol), I moved to Los Angeles. I had no idea what I was doing, but it was one thing I had wanted for such a long time and I finally had the guts to do it.
I’ve heard A LOT more Noes than Yeses throughout my career. I put my face and name on any castings I could, paid or unpaid, as long as I was doing it. My days were spent working as a full-time assistant and my nights were spent doing fashion shows. A lot of people think it’s free clothes, red carpets, and dressing up to take pictures for social media. Realistically, it’s a ton of research, trial and error. Now with content creation, most days are just filled with admin work which can honestly be just as draining. In my case, the growth has been slow, but steady. It can sometimes be discouraging and I’ve caught myself questioning this journey from time to time, but I’m glad I haven’t given up.
I’m passionate about providing entertaining and inspirational lifestyle, travel, beauty, and fashion content. My goal is to be a fun and reliable source for my audience. I have found an outlet to share my personal style and creativity with my growing community.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Funny enough, some girlfriends and I created a (long) list of the cities coolest spots! We’ve slowly been checking places off the list. I love a good brunch at Hash Kitchen, shopping in Scottsdale, and definitely an evening walking around and exploring downtown bars like From the Rooftop or unique places like the Pemberton. Then you’d have to do dinner and a night out in Old Town, its a must.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family, my friends, and my followers! Literally without any of these people and their support, I would not be able to be where I am today. I hope each and every person in my life knows how much love and appreciation I have for them.
