We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Bailey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexis, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency. From my experience, consistency has been the single most important factor to ensuring success of any brand. Consistency creates accountability. I have built an amazing relationships with clients that want to work with me again.

What should our readers know about your business?
First, let me start off by saying starting a business was terrifying and especially in a middle of a pandemic. Unique’s Cleaning Service is a small affordable cleaning and organizing company, which strives for satisfaction of customers. I specialize in detailing cleaning and I’m known for going over and beyond for my clients. What sets me apart from others is I’m very professional, the client always comes first; I offer a deluxe version of my services which provides steaming floors, carpet cleaning, organizing, and laundry services if needed. The most proud moments for my company are looking at the reviews after completed jobs. I figured every single person needs their house cleaned or organized. One day I went on Facebook and asked for small donations to purchase cleaning supplies and provide a quality service. By being independent and having self-motivation, I was able to build enough confidence in myself to go into people’s homes. I thrive off of real satisfaction for the fact I’m able to help people relieve stress by making their homes and lives better in a very concrete way. I service Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler and anywhere else within a reasonable radius. Soon I will be expanding my company to another state which I’m excited about so look out world here I come.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly, I am not sure. I recently just moved to Phoenix September 2021 and I’m still not familiar with the area. But I have turned to instagram and google to help me find fun places to visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother Michelle Beltran. When I was a child, I saw my mother literally clean every day, she couldn’t even sit down and watch a movie because she would be cleaning so much. I followed my mother’s footsteps by cleaning nonstop even when things were already clean, I would then go to other people’s houses rather it’s just a family function or a random visit and would be secretly cleaning up. Being five out of seven my mom calls me her “butterfly” and she always told me to fly. Her definition of a butterfly is not only beautiful but also has this mystery outlook on life. One who makes mindful of your personal growth and progress in life. Now that I’m older I understand why she raised me the way I am now and being that pushy mother. With her encouragement, I’m able to be great and I became the first college graduate of my family. Thank you, mom and dad for being simply amazing and raising me to become a phenomenal black woman.
