We had the good fortune of connecting with Alondra De La Rosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alondra, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is self development! I believe that bettering yourself, mind, and soul is the key to success. I love to pray every morning, listen to podcast while driving, and watching trainings that are provided for me to help me become successful in my business. Self development is not only an important factor for me but for everyone trying to grow their business; this includes all the women and men I work along with! Before I used to just go about my day, school, work, home, and repeat; I never knew that taking the time to listen and pray on something would not only help me grow but would also help my business grow. I believe that I wouldn’t have the success I have if it weren’t for my family, family, and God as well! Self development helped “me” grow but my friends, family, and God structured me into the person I am today. I give all the thanks to everyone in my life and what it has done for me.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I work remotely through social media! I connect and mentor many people every day helping them achieve the life they’ve always dreamt of, just like myself. I not only mentor so many people but I also help men and women find confidence in themselves through ant-aging hair care. I know what you’re thinking “what does shampoo have to do with this?” and let me tell you “A LOT” shampoo has not only changed my life and my confidence but I have seen it change all of my customers. I know that its crazy to think but trust me I have never felt this in love with the appearance of my hair until I changed my products and I know hundreds of people that say the same thing. I not only help those achieve there hair goals but I also want others to know that no matter what color, shape, or size they are that they are beautiful no matter what! I have never in ,y life felt this confident in my whole appearance before! I love not only mentoring and connecting with those through social media but sharing with the world that curvy is beautiful. I won’t lie it wasn’t easy getting to where I am now; I have taken this whole year to grow my confidence, image, and mission. It took a lot for me to accept the “no’s” and realize that its a “not right now” and this has helped me overcome my fear of rejection I know everyone has their doubts and have to see success before deciding to go all in because before starting my business I thought the same thing. The biggest lesson I have learned is to invest in myself; I invested in my business and took that leap to get out of my comfort zone and shine the light that was given to me. I want to the world to know that in order to live by your rules and live the life you want you gotta get uncomfortable and take that leap; you need to invest in yourself especially if its risk free. I am here to shine my light and like I say over and over again is to MAKE EVERYONE’S DREAMS INTO REALITY!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have lived here my entire life and I could not tell you any hotspots. I know that if this was someone I cared about I would take them everywhere my dad would take me as a kid! I would first take them to my favorite pizza place here in AZ called “Angie and Jimmies”, we would just grub on some pizza and wings and catchup on everything; after that I would take them to probably oreganos because they have a delicious gooey pazookie! Through out the week I would love to just make as many memories as possible so probably go down to Sedona, Grand Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend to get all the nature part of things done, and then I would take them to all my favorite dessert places; rolled ice cream, Baked Bear, Crumble, and some new places I’ve never been to as well. I would also love to try some new and popular food places along with some more activities in the city, riding birds, going to top golf, laser tag, etc. I think AZ has so many amazing people and places to checkout that you wouldn’t be able to explore all of it in one week! Every season has its own beauty.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have so many people I want to shout out; the first shout out I have to give is to my family and friends for supporting me! I wouldn’t not have the encouragement to keep going forward if it weren’t for them always encouraging me and letting me know everyday how proud they are to see me become the woman I am today. Next I have to give a shoutout to all the women I work along side with and all the women that work along side me; if it weren’t for them telling me that its not only going to get better but that they see big things for me I wouldn’t be working as hard as I do to achieve my goals. Marta is a mentor of mine and has guided me through everything I know today and has inspired me everyday that what we do is not for us but for those who have dreams just like us, to help their dreams come to reality not only like we made ours but that they can do it with some guidance, support, and community. Lastly I have to give a HUGE shoutout to God I am so unbelievably blessed to say the least. God has opened so many doors for me, I won’t lie He has put some obstacles in my life but He knows how strong I am and that I might crack but nothing will ever break me!
