Meet Amalia Falck | CEO & Founder of Come Alive Herbals

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amalia Falck and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amalia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
If I had to name the single most important factor behind the success of Come Alive Herbals, it would be authenticity. From the very beginning, this brand was never created to follow trends… it was created from lived experience, ancestral wisdom, and a genuine desire to help people reconnect with their bodies and the natural world.
Come Alive Herbals was born from my personal journey into herbalism, Ayurveda, and bodywork. Long before we ever sold a product online, I was studying plant medicine, working with clients through massage therapy, and learning how the body responds to natural healing practices. Many of our products were originally formulated for real people with real needs… clients struggling with stress, sleep issues, inflammation, hormone imbalances, or skin conditions. That practical, hands-on foundation shaped everything we do today.
Another key part of our success is our commitment to integrity in ingredients and formulation. We source high-quality botanicals, avoid synthetic additives, and craft products that are both simple and potent. In a market that can sometimes prioritize marketing over substance, we’ve stayed focused on creating formulas that genuinely work. That trust has allowed our community to grow organically through word of mouth.
But beyond the products themselves, the real heart of Come Alive Herbals is the philosophy behind it. Our mission has always been to inspire people to live more vibrant, connected, and intentional lives. We believe wellness isn’t about perfection or complicated routines… it’s about simple daily rituals that bring you back into balance.
When people use our products, they’re not just applying skincare or wellness formulas… they’re participating in a practice of slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and taking care of themselves in a more conscious way. I believe that deeper purpose is what people resonate with, and ultimately what has allowed Come Alive Herbals to grow into the brand it is today.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Come Alive Herbals is a natural wellness and skincare brand rooted in herbalism, Ayurvedic philosophy, and the belief that nature provides powerful tools for healing and balance. At its core, the brand is about reconnecting people with simple, effective rituals that support the body, calm the mind, and nourish the skin. Our products are handcrafted with high-quality botanicals and intentionally formulated to be both potent and clean—free from synthetic fragrances, artificial preservatives, and unnecessary fillers.
What truly sets Come Alive Herbals apart is that our formulas are born from real practice and lived experience. Many of our products began as blends I created while studying herbal medicine and working with clients through massage therapy and wellness practices. These weren’t products designed in a boardroom—they were created to solve real problems people were experiencing, whether it was muscle recovery, sleep support, hormone balance, or skin irritation. That foundation continues to guide everything we do.
The beginning of the business was anything but conventional. When I first started Come Alive Herbals, I was living out of my car and traveling the country. For the first three years, I lived very simply, setting up booths at farmers markets, wellness festivals, and pop-up events wherever I could. Every single dollar I earned went right back into the business—buying ingredients, bottles, labels, and anything else needed to keep growing. It was a season of extreme discipline, but also one of the most meaningful times of my life because the brand was being built directly in community with the people using the products.
Those early markets taught me more about business than any textbook ever could. I had the chance to talk face-to-face with customers, hear their stories, and understand exactly what they were looking for in natural wellness products. Many of our most loved formulas today were refined through those conversations and experiences.
I’m especially proud that as we’ve grown, we’ve stayed committed to quality and integrity. In the wellness industry, it can be tempting to cut corners or chase trends, but we’ve always believed the most powerful products come from thoughtful formulation and deep respect for the plants themselves. Every ingredient we choose has a purpose.
Like most entrepreneurial journeys, the path hasn’t always been easy. There were plenty of moments where we had to figure things out in real time and push through uncertainty. But those challenges ultimately shaped the brand and strengthened our commitment to the mission behind it.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way is the importance of staying connected to your “why.” When you build something from a place of purpose rather than just profit, it gives you the resilience to navigate the inevitable ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
What I want people to know about Come Alive Herbals is that it’s more than just a skincare or wellness company—it’s an invitation to slow down and reconnect with nature and with yourself. In a world that often encourages constant busyness and quick fixes, we believe there is real power in simple rituals and intentional living.
Two quotes have guided me through this entire journey. One is, *“If you’re not willing to downgrade your lifestyle for a year to have a lifestyle you want forever, you care too much what other people think.”* The other is, *“Life favors the bold.”* Those ideas shaped the way I built this company—and in many ways, they still do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a close friend were visiting and I had a week to show them the magic of this area, I’d focus on the things that make this place so special… nature, great food, creative communities, and experiences that help you slow down and actually feel present. For me, the best moments are the simple ones that reconnect you to the rhythm of life.
We’d start most mornings outside. I love beginning the day with movement and fresh air, whether that’s a sunrise walk, a beach morning, or a yoga session to set the tone for the day. There’s something powerful about starting the day grounded in nature before the world gets busy.
Food is a big part of how we connect with people and with nature. I love visiting local cafés and farm-to-table restaurants where the chefs really care about where their ingredients come from. Those kinds of places tend to attract creative, interesting people… artists, surfers, entrepreneurs, wellness practitioners… and you end up having the most unexpected conversations.
But some of my favorite meals happen at home. Living part of the year in Costa Rica, we often go spearfishing and bring home fresh tuna from the ocean the same day. On those nights we invite friends over, make simple sushi or poke bowls, and share a meal together using food that was sustainably harvested just hours before. Those evenings are really special—no phones, no background noise, no politics—just good food, good conversation, and the kind of energy that reminds you how meaningful it is to slow down and be present with the people around you.
Afternoons would be about exploring. I’d want them to experience some of the natural beauty that makes this region so inspiring… whether that’s hiking through desert landscapes, spending time near the water, visiting local markets, or checking out small independent shops and creative studios. I always think the best way to understand a place is to wander a little and see what you stumble upon.
In the evenings, we’d keep things relaxed but memorable. I love a good sunset moment… somewhere with a beautiful view, great conversation, and great food. There’s something about ending the day watching the sky change colors that reminds you how simple and beautiful life can be.
If I had to design the perfect week, it would really be about balance… movement, nature, good meals, meaningful conversations, and discovering the people and places that make a community unique. Those are the moments that stay with you long after the trip ends.
At the end of the day, the best experiences aren’t always the most elaborate ones… they’re the ones where you feel connected to the place you’re in and the people you’re sharing it with. That’s the kind of week I’d want any friend visiting to experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people and sources of inspiration that deserve credit for the journey of Come Alive Herbals. At the heart of it, I would say the greatest influence has been the lineage of women who came before me… mothers, grandmothers, healers, and herbalists who carried the wisdom of working with plants and caring for the body in a natural way. Long before wellness became an industry, these traditions were simply a way of life. That ancestral knowledge continues to guide everything we create.
I also have deep gratitude for the teachers and traditions of Ayurveda and herbal medicine. The philosophy that the body is intelligent and capable of healing when supported by nature profoundly shaped my worldview. Learning about doshas, plant energetics, and the importance of daily rituals gave me a framework for understanding wellness that is both ancient and incredibly relevant in today’s fast-paced world. Many of the formulas we craft at Come Alive Herbals are inspired by these principles.
Of course, no brand is built alone. I’m incredibly grateful for my fiancé and business partner, Travis, whose entrepreneurial vision and belief in the mission of Come Alive Herbals helped bring the brand to life on a larger scale. His experience building purpose-driven companies and his relentless energy for creating new things have played a huge role in helping us grow.
And finally, I want to give a shoutout to our community… the customers who trust us with their wellness rituals and share their experiences with others. Many of our best ideas and product inspirations have come directly from listening to the people who use our products every day. Seeing how these formulas become part of someone’s routine for sleep, recovery, skin health, or emotional balance is incredibly meaningful.
At the end of the day, Come Alive Herbals is really a reflection of a larger community of teachers, traditions, and people who believe in a more natural way of living. I feel honored to carry that forward.
