Meet Andres (Dre) Isidoro | CEO of IsidoroCaptured

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andres (Dre) Isidoro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andres (Dre), how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
If you don’t have balance in life you are building a lifestyle of disaster. Early in my career, I focused on nothing but business. I would eat, sleep, and breathe business. I remember there were multiple times I would go days without proper sleep and rest. Doing this gave me a false feeling of productivity. Looking back at those moments, I was actually causing more damage to not only my business but also myself. Burnout is real and I’ve had to take a step back and address my own issues before I could focus on taking my business to the next level. I advise everyone to have a proper balance between work life and your own life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am proud to have a successful business and have made lifelong friendships along the way. Starting a business wasn’t easy, before I was able to go full-time into it I had to fight cancer twice. These two years of my life were absolutely miserable but I’m glad I had a supportive circle of people around me. I want people to not take those who love them for granted. There are multiple times in starting a business when you have to make sacrifices and this could start turning into neglecting to make time for your loved ones. I strongly believe you have to build healthy work-life habits before you can have a successful business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am an outdoor person so exploring nature is a must. Arizona offers many hiking trails with nice views and this week-long trip, would be planned around going to one of the seven wonders of the world, The Grand Canyon. When they arrive we would spend the first day exploring downtown Scott’s Dale. There I would let them rest up, eat some food and relax a bit after travel. After the first day, we would start our trip to The Grand Canyon. Since it’s a bit of a drive we would start early and get there by mid-day. When we arrive I would have planned a horse ride for us to get to travel through The Grand Canyon and be one with nature. Once this main adventure end, the next couple of days will be full of relaxing and eating. Both will be done around Phoenix, Scotts Dale, and Tempe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
DJ Lightskin Larry is a local DJ who has helped me in my career path.
