Meet Andrew Mitchell | Owner & Video Strategist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Mitchell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, how does your business help the community?
Our business is committed to making a positive social impact by telling the stories of local businesses that help them stand out in their industry, and attract more ideal customers. We believe in the power of business to drive positive change, and through our actions, and believe visual storytelling is the most effective way to help businesses serve more peple.
What should our readers know about your business?
My journey in the business world has been a challenging yet rewarding adventure. Starting from humble beginnings, the path to where I am today was far from easy. I was a loner in middle and high school and was frequently picked on and bullied at school. One of the few things that brought me joy was making short films with my parents career. In high school I made the decision I would pursue a career in film.
Persistence and a relentless passion for my craft were my driving forces. I was told by virtually everyone except my parents that I should go to college to pursue a “real job” and that having a career making films was impossible. During community college I landed my first paid freelance video gig recording class lectures for teachers.
After I graduated from community college I went to film school at the Academy of Art University to hone my craft.
Upon graduating I did more random freelance video projects. I didn’t know how to sell as I was always the “creative” and didn’t know the business side of video outside of the film industry.
Shortly after I moved to Burbank, CA. I joined a facebook group that teaches videographers how to sell video projects. The founder of the group came out with an online course, and I bought it.
I began applying what I learned and started making great progress, until the Covid lock-downs happened on my birthday. A year later I relocated to Nevada to restart my business in Nevada. I began networking a lot talking to businesses down my street in Henderson. Soon I had client and slowly but surely my network and word about our video services began to grow.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that we stand for resilience, creativity, and a commitment to making a positive impact. Our journey is a testament to the belief that with determination, even the most formidable challenges can be overcome. As a brand, we’re not just about products or services; we’re about contributing to a better world through the power of storytelling,
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
