Meet Andrew Norman | Creative Agency Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Norman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial drive, starting from a young age when I was hustling and taking on odd jobs. By the time I was 15, I was running my own eBay business and even became a powerseller. Those early experiences gave me a solid foundation in entrepreneurship.
As I grew older, I began to focus more on my side hustles, working on them during the week and on weekends. It never felt like work, which was a clear sign that I was in the right place. This realization made me even more determined to make a full transition into something I was truly passionate about. Seeing others take similar risks and succeed was inspiring, and my diverse experience in my field further confirmed that starting my own business was the right path. I knew I needed to develop a solid plan to ensure a smooth transition, and looking back, the journey has been incredibly rewarding.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What started as a hobby has blossomed into a business that I’m deeply passionate about. What truly sets me apart is my dedication to forging long-term relationships with clients and ensuring their complete satisfaction with the creative work I deliver. For me, it’s not just about producing and managing content—it’s about making a meaningful impact and building trust.
My journey took a significant turn in 2018 when I moved from Indiana to Arizona. My first year was spent living on an air mattress in a living room while working on a production series for ASU baseball. This experience of managing over 100 days of footage and working on set was invaluable, providing me with a strong foundation in creative production while instilling the valuable lesson of hard work and discipline.
After a period of bouncing between couches, I finally settled in Mesa, AZ, where I took on the role of Marketing Manager for a roofing company. As the sole member of the marketing department, I gained firsthand experience in management, lead form generation, and strategy. I then transitioned to roles as Social Media Manager and eventually Partnership Manager at an online sports memorabilia and collectibles auction house. Leading an influencer program in this position, I generated $10 million in sales over 2.5 years and orchestrated corporate events with over 50,000 attendees. This diverse experience enriched my understanding of marketing, strategic partnerships, digital marketing, and social media.
Empowered by the confidence and skills I developed, I took the bold step to launch my own creative agency this past year. The journey wasn’t without its challenges, but one crucial lesson I’ve learned is the value of taking risks. As the saying goes, you have to “risk it for the biscuit.” Embracing this mindset—of saying you can and figuring it out as you go—has been instrumental in overcoming obstacles and advancing forward.
Ultimately, my mission is to be a catalyst in elevating individual brands to their highest potential through various forms of media. I want the world to know that my commitment to excellence and client satisfaction drives everything I do. I’m here to help brands realize their vision and amplify their impact, and I am dedicated to making that happen.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d kick things off in Sedona by taking in the stunning red rock views and soak up the town’s charm. Depending on the weather, we might hike some beautiful trails and check out the vortex sites for a bit of metaphysical exploration. We’d also explore Sedona’s gem stores to find spiritual stones and crystals.
After soaking up Sedona, we’d head back to Phoenix for a blend of outdoor and city experiences. If it’s the right season, we’d catch a game—whether it’s the Diamondbacks, Suns, or Cardinals. We’d also check out downtown Phoenix, grabbing a drink at AZ Wilderness Brewing Co. and, if it’s the first Friday of the month, diving into the First Friday festival.
Next, we’d explore Scottsdale and Tempe. In Scottsdale, we’d enjoy the lively arts scene and upscale dining. If we’re in the mood, we could get a day pass at one of the many luxury resort pools. In Tempe, we’d wander around the Arizona State University (ASU) campus, which is both picturesque and rich in culture. We’d also make time for Tempe’s relaxed vibe, great local food, and entertainment options. And, of course, we’d grab some delicious wings at Zipps!
To wrap up the week, if time allows, we’d set aside a day to visit either Saguaro or Canyon Lake for a scenic boat day.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to take a moment to give a heartfelt shoutout to the incredible people and organizations who have played a pivotal role in my journey. First and foremost, I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to my friends, family and girlfriend. Their unwavering support and encouragement were the driving forces behind my move from Indiana to Arizona—a leap that was crucial in pursuing my creative dreams.
A special thank you also goes to the local musical artists, local companies, and brands in Arizona. Their willingness to take a chance on me has provided a fantastic framework and countless opportunities to hone my skills over the past few years. Their belief in my potential and their support have been invaluable as I navigated this exciting path. I also want to express my gratitude to the mentors and colleagues who have generously shared their tips and tricks with me in the creative suite. Their guidance and expertise have played a crucial role in my growth and success.
