Meet Angela Markham | Affiliate Marketing Strategist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Markham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When thinking about venturing out on my own, I wanted to make sure there was a clear intersection between my knowledge, strengths, and passion. Naturally, Affiliate Marketing was the perfect solution, I have over 10 years of experience in the industry, I am able to utilize all sorts of skills that come easily to me, and I have a passion for helping business owners create more impact and income!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a graphic designer by trade, so this led me immediately into the world of design and marketing straight out of college. I have equal parts left/right brain, which often creates some disparity between where my career path should lead. So I’ve bounced back and form between art-focused jobs and more analytical jobs within my 10 years of corporate experience. From production designer to project manager, and waitress to affiliate marketing manager, all of my skills today can be attributed to the vast, real world experience I have engage in from corporate America.

Navigating this winding path has never been easy. I’ve never been one of those “clear-headed” individuals who knows exactly what they want to be or do! And i’ve come to terms with the fact that I likely never will, That is all part of my journey!

So today, I’m working my way toward getting to utilize all of my skills, which is where I’m happiest and also where I get to serve my clients in the greatest, most unique way,

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Omaha, Nebraska is truly a diamond in the rough! It’s the greatest kept secret for young professionals, families, and the retired. There is so much to do here, including tons of beautiful nature, night life and fun community involvement.

When you come visit, I will take you to the super fun Omaha Zoo, out to eat at one of our amazing restaurants where you will taste the best T-bone steak of your life, navigate our evening through one of our speakeasy’s or perhaps our “bicycle pub”, and end the evening with a nightcap at the recently restored Cottonwood Hotel.

We will be surrounded by the most down to earth, funny, welcoming people you have ever met. You’ll experience true Midwestern hospitality here in Omaha.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my dad, the first entrepreneur I ever met, and my biggest supporter. He encourages me day in and day out to never quit. I also need to thank my fellow women in business.. I have such a great support system through networking groups and masterminds that I’ve joined throughout the last several years.
