Hi Anthony, how do you think about risk?
Risk is necessary for growth. Calculated risks are how I often manage my business. In fact, I left my longstanding career to launch a new company in a market that didn’t have digital marketing specific to the security industry. The calculated risks I took were a great success. I mirror the same sentiment in my personal life, trying to lead my family of 4 in the same manner.

What should our readers know about your business?

After spending nearly 20 years climbing the security corporate ladder, I noticed a heightened need for strategic company growth strategy within the security industry. To grow & scale your security company, it is critical to be visible online, manage website SEO, blogging and maintain a heavy social presence. It had become very clear that security company business owners were relying heavily on just a website to drive inbound leads. In addition, most SMB size company’s do not have the layers necessary to maintain sales and marketing departments. I have a unique understanding of all facets of the private security industry. I’ve held various roles within the industry including Executive Vice President as well as business development, sales, and marketing. Prior, I was in the United States Military for seventeen years. As a member of the Military Police, I served in Bosnia and Iraq and was also a first responder in New York at 9-11. I also managed personal security detail for high-ranking officials, and directed the Arizona Joint Security Operations Center. My experience intertwined with my military background offers an authentic and no-nonsense approach to security digital marketing

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m of Italian descent and grew up in New York – I am especially happy to enjoy a delicious meal. My go-to restaurant has been Mastro’s; from a date night with my wife, a family dinner and even a work dinner, Mastro’s offers an incredible experience. A new favorite has become Pomodoro in Cave Creek. The local owners moved to Phoenix from Italy three years ago and have since become great family friends. The home-made dishes on their menu are definitely memorable. The biker bars in Cave Creek are also on my list! When we have a babysitter, my wife and I love to have a few drinks during the day at any of the Cave Creek biker bars!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, i’d like to thank my wife, Amanda Rumore. She inspires me to be a better person, which ultimately affects every part of my life. From personal life, to family life and business, her and i are a great team. I’d like to thank our friend, Amanda Vega. After a lunch meeting with her, I walked away confident in the direction my new business would take. Last, my time in the military was incredibly beneficial in mindset, drive, and, of course, my profession in the security industry.
