We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, how does your business help the community?
We contribute to the community by offering complimentary programs, including camps and basketball leagues, to young people from diverse backgrounds. Many of these children come from economically disadvantaged families. Our free services play a crucial role in enhancing their lives by granting them access to activities and programs that would otherwise be financially out of reach. We heavily depend on funding and donations to continue offering these affordable to no-cost services.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am excited about the partnerships we are building and the prospects of securing a centralized location to run all of our programs. Our goal is to establish additional partnerships to secure the necessary funding for the future, ensuring that we can continue offering community programs at minimal to no cost.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would kick off our day with a scenic drive to Mount Lemmon, followed by a meal at American Eat Co. We would cap off the evening by heading to my favorite gym at Palo Verde High School, where the vibrant atmosphere of the basketball team and the community coming together to support the local team makes a fantastic experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Thomas and Veronica for their dedication and invaluable contributions to the growth of Positive Pro. They have generously volunteered their time to organize programs, tutor children, and engage with community organizations to secure donations. Without their selfless efforts, Positive Pro would not have reached its current level of success. It is of great significance to me to recognize their unwavering commitment to our mission.
