Hi Antoine, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Thanks for asking.

My favorite quote or affirmation is “Everything Happens for a reason”, I’m a firm believer in that quote. We have things we can control and things out of our control, for the things we can’t I believe these things happen for a reason even if we don’t see it yet. I loss both of my parents at a young age, I use to want to question why, but then I began to look at it as a blessing. I may not have became who I am today if it wasn’t for losing my parents….Had to look at the good in the wake of the tragedy. I may not understand in the moment why things happen but I truly believe it’s for a reason. I like the quote because, it makes me stress less about things, it’s taught me not to over think or dwell on the things that may not go my way.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a DJ & Event curator here in Tucson, AZ by way of Detroit, MI. I believe my ear for music and interest in dope blends and transitions set me apart in my current market. Playing primarily Hip Hop & R&B helps me stand out down here also.

I bet on myself, took a chance with perusing DJ, cold calling numerous of venues and reaching out to other DJs for a shot. It was not easy but I kept plugging away until the right opportunity came.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hmmmmm a week long trip…Yikes lol

Thursday and Saturday I would take them to my weekly gigs I spin at.

For food, I would take them to my favorite food truck in town, Depending on what they had a taste for.

Brunch would definitely be a move for the weekend.

We would hit a couple cool bars with good food & invite some friends here in town.

A trip to the outlet mall would be on the agenda, along with some black local shops here in town.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to S/o my Family back home, My Aunt Liz & Uncle Tony for sure. Also to my Bros back home in Detroit and the ones I met here in Tucson. Both have supported and motivated me to be better and enlarge my territory. They have listened and critiqued my mixes and attended my events…pushing me to be the best I can. I can’t forget the people who support, promote and attend my events, it’s much appreciated.
