We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariel Strobel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ariel, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
A habit I like to take into account is just taking things day by day, otherwise it is easy to get overwhelmed and frustrated. Seeing the big picture and future goals are important, but it is more important to take everything one task at a time.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I create pet portraits. I love capturing someone’s furry friend, someone important to the client. I also enjoy using bold colors. I have been making them for years, mostly for family or friends, but I recently decided to sell them professionally. It is not easy running a small business. Trying to stand apart from others. I learned that you can not please everyone , but be proud of your work. I I want the world to know that practice and patience can pay off. You only have one life to live, you have to pursue what makes you happy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the hiking spots, some Mexican food, and the desert museum.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family, who have always supported my dreams.
