Hi Ashley Sheen & Erica Ptak, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Inspired by a deeply rooted love of the desert and a passion for water conservation, Desert Dweller Co. was founded as a tribute to our native state and is fueled by the desire to preserve our landscape and vital natural resources for years to come. As Arizona natives – born and raised in Flagstaff and Phoenix – who value sustainability and conscious living, we share a deep passion for the environmental diversity of our state. We love our home and want our families, friends, and businesses to thrive in the Southwest for years to come. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As Desert Dwellers, water is one of our most precious resources. By directly supporting the installation of SOURCE sustainable hydropanels in water-stressed communities, we hope to make a significant impact on the future of water in Arizona and beyond.

Desert Dweller Co. is dedicated to providing fresh, contemporary designs and a refined selection of products that are equal parts stylish, utilitarian, and impactful. With the mission of supporting water sustainability in our region and beyond, we are proud to donate a portion of each sale to conservation initiatives and tactical water solutions for communities in need. By partnering with the makers of SOURCE hydropanels in 2021, Desert Dweller Co. has committed 10% of each sale to the installation of self-contained drinking water systems in water-stressed areas within our state.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As Central Phoenix residents, we love the history, culture, amazing shopping, dining, and entertainment in our neighborhood! For a PHX weekend, we would recommend: – Grabbing coffee at Lux on Central (ask for a dollop of espresso whipped cream) – Early morning hike up Piestewa Peak – Brunch at Elly’s – Followed by shopping the boutiques at Uptown Plaza – Spa treatments at Alvadora Spa at The Royal Palms – Cocktails at Bitter & Twisted – Dinner at St. Francis – Ice Cream at Churn Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure.
