Meet AZ THREE | Classical trio (violin, cello, piano) playing all styles of music

We had the good fortune of connecting with AZ THREE and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi AZ, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We, AZ THREE are a classical trio of musicians: violinist (Zhenevyeva Ehrbright), cellist (Oxana Cochran) and pianist (Yelena Golberg), met by chance almost 5 years ago. We were very excited to discover great similarities in our vision of music and performance, all of us coming from famous European musical background. And then the idea came to us that there’s a big demand in beautifying events and occasions of all scales with music.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Before we met together, we all had music teaching careers. Once we decided to enter the entertainment world of Arizona, we started exploring endless genres of music. We are especially proud of combining the depth of classical music approach with popular life entertainment.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d take them on a tour of Phoenix/Scottsdale art galleries, the unique Musical Instrument Museum and for the nighttime, go to a few live music venues or if you’re lucky, catch our trio AZ THREE performance.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We dedicate our craft to our wonderful teachers and famous composers and musicians whose repertoire is among our favorite throughout the years (ex. Petr Tchaikovsky, Anton Rubinstein, Louis Armstrong, Leonard Cohen, Elvis Presley, etc)
