Meet Brooke Benlifer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Benlifer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brooke, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
I absolutely love being outside, spending time with friends and family and being active. I love music and singing and dancing and delicious food. I truly enjoy my work, especially one on one counseling and coaching clients. This is where I feel the most connected to nature and to myself and my purpose.

What should our readers know about your business?
I work with clients of all ages, from young children to seniors. Some people have complex dietary needs due to major medical issues, while others simply want to optimize their intake for performance or lifestyle goals. I am truly invested in each and every client and helping them achieve their desired outcome. I tailor each program to the individual because each person is unique in their relationship with food and how they like to approach achieving goals and changing habits and behaviors. I am most proud of seeing people learn to manage the food landscape on their own and gain skills and confidence so that they no longer need my guidance. I worked in a clinical hospital setting for eight years in multiple hospitals and built my private practice simultaneously. The hospital setting was never where I wanted to work long term (I prefer outpatient settings and preventative care vs. acute care) BUT I am so thankful for my years working in hospitals because I learned so much and gained an incredible amount of hands on experience that made my private practice work that much more successful and broadened my knowledge base in ways I never could have anticipated.
