We had the good fortune of connecting with Carie Ann Ochs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carie Ann, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process actually started with trying to help myself. I had various traumas from childhood and adulthood that I struggled with and I wanted to overcome them and be happy. I had always been interested in energy and minerals from an early age. Once I was able to see how well it helped me, I thought maybe I could help others get results for themselves.

So I will speak with clients on what they would like to work on and try to find them an appropriate stone or crystal. I then wire wrap the stone and it can be worn as a necklace, or other products can be discussed.

And then they can use the positive energy in the stone to help bring positivity into their life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I try to give my full attention to my clients needs. But at the same time I have to honor my own. There are times when my energy is not where I would like it to be and I am unable to work with the minerals. Only because I want the best energy to go into what I am working with for my clients.

So at times it has been tricky to balance that. Each day I learn and go through something new. But I try to start my day off grateful and happy.

One of the main lessons I have learned is that you can only depend on yourself, and that you have to put a lot of work into yourself. And that it’s not always going to be easy. Sometimes you will be up, sometimes down. The biggest thing is to not lose faith in yourself. And to love yourself through all of your moods.

I’d like the world to know that if I can do it they can too. Everything is a mindset, I just want to help you have a positive one!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them into nature. And try to have as many new and exciting experiences as possible. I would want to just sit and look at the grass with them. Play music and eat our favorite foods. There would be no specific itinerary. We would go with the flow and see where the wind took us. We would just have fun!!

As far as exciting people. To me everyone is exciting. And I learn something from everyone.
I wake up every morning eager to learn something new that day.
