Meet Carol Lampman | Instructor, therapist, and Director of Integration Concepts,

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carol Lampman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carol, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always had an entrepreneurial nature. If something inspires me, I become curious and want to know everything about it. Whatever I choose to do, I will put 100% into it. Those are the qualities that led me to the business of today. It was not so much a thought process but an evolutionary one. In retrospect, I could see that I was being led step by step into an unknown future.
My path into holistic therapies was profoundly influenced by my journey through childhood trauma, which ignited my passion for understanding the intricate relationship between the mind and body. My professional focus emphasizes the importance of the emotional process and its impact on physical and psychological health. The evolution continued, and my search cured my devastating migraine headaches without daily medication.
At some point, I realized my journey had come full circle. The tools I learned from various disciplines to heal myself became part of the Integral Breath Therapy (IBT) program.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My story began as a child, but I did not remember it until much later. In my adult life, I have had three careers, and each contributed to the end result. In the beginning, I worked in the medical field in a pediatric clinic and later in a holistic health center. This part represents my interest in the mind-body connection and my desire to help others. At that time, my hobby was cooking, and as a creative project, I wrote a cookbook. It took off and changed my life.
Before long, I taught cooking classes and wrote for the newspaper. It was all very exciting. Eventually, I worked for a festival, and celebrities were brought in as entertainment. I loved the creativity of putting together programs, coordinating with local television stations, and running one of the largest cooking schools in the area.
It was here that I learned that I could teach.
I felt like all my dreams came true, with one exception. I had suffered from chronic Migraines for decades, but
The more successful I became, the more my headaches intensified. My interest in the mind-body connection was reignited. I refused the daily medication and began searching for the cause and the cure. This started a journey inside where I explored my past and found the connection to the headaches.
We moved out of state, and there was time to explore myself more deeply. I studied the mind-body connection and who we are as psychological, energetic beings. I took so many classes and found my passion. Ultimately, I became an advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Breathwork Trainer, and Release Therapist, with training in Hypno-Behavioral Therapy, Reichian process work, Pre and Perinatal Psychology, Integrative, Cathartic and Rebirthing Breathwork, and the Hendricks Body Centered Transformation Method. I found myself in private practice using all the tools that worked for me as I was healing the migraines.
I developed the Integral Breath Therapy Training and Integration Process Training programs for health care professionals and began teaching around the US and Internationally. My medical background working closely with catastrophically ill children and my personal experience with childhood trauma led me to a career using holistic and somatic therapies. Integral Breath Therapy was born and has changed the lives of many as it has healed their bodies and minds released emotions and connected to their authenticity.
Integral Breath Therapy is a natural, organic modality that is completely safe and simple to use. It is a body-centered process that uses a variety of conscious connected breathing ] techniques as a vehicle for self-exploration and personal development. Our training program is oriented toward those specializing in healing modalities. I especially enjoy working with groups in either a professional or public format.,
This client-centered process has many applications that can be used for managing stress, physical healing, building self-esteem, emotional balancing, personal growth, Spiritual development, and more. What has been most rewarding for me is that this method that evolved from my healing process has touched hundreds of people. It has done for them what it did for me, It brought me back to my heart and filled my life with joy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Tucson, spend a lot of time in Phoenix, and love Arizona. There is so much history here. The state of Arizona combines deserts, mountains, red rocks, historic ranches, missions, and Native American culture. There is great food from a variety of cultures.. I love the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Excellent hiking is everywhere from the north to the south of the state. Take a trip down Highway 66 or visit the Biosphere. You will never be bored in Arizona.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There have been so many who contributed to my growth and success. I would dedicate my shoutout to all the pioneers who were able to think outside the box. My program was an evolution of learning through trial and error. It was almost like unseen forces were guiding me along the way. Experts in the field of breathwork and the authors of books on the body, brainwaves, belief systems, emotional processes, and altered states of consciousness gave me focus when looking for understanding. It took time for me to comprehend that the answers come from within. This is the same, no matter the origin of the issue. The process works to heal, whether physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual.
