We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Casey, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
Being a parent can be one of the most challenging tasks; always being ready for the unexpected. It is a relationship like no other and is a true act of unconditional love. The most important thing I have done is encourage my son to be himself and never give up. Consequently, my son has impacted me in the same way in life and business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Casey Anderson Consulting, LLC is a sole entrepreneurship that focuses on business development, stability, profitability through management, marketing & events.

The way we do business is constantly changing and being able to guide and cultivate businesses through that is my ultimate passion.

My company positions itself as an extension of the clients we serve. I didn’t want a company that just worked with clients. I wanted a company that really understood each individual client’s business and industry. Every business is different and my company sets itself apart by developing strategies based on the specific needs, observations and experiences of each client.

I find myself where I am today through loyalty, trust, perseverance and the true pursuit of a meaningful life. Was it easy? Heck no, but I wouldn’t have it any other way as it has made my company grow and learn through the challenges, failures & lessons along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Where do I start? As a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA), I get asked this question all the time. I would start with understanding what my best friend’s needs/wants were for the trip. Is she visiting for an adventurous time or downtime? That would determine our agenda.

Tucson, Arizona has so much to offer…we would definitely take advantage of the perfect weather and breathtaking mountain sunsets while drinking and dining our way through the UNESCO City of Gastronomy. I don’t get to see my bestie often, so I would absolutely take advantage of downtime with her and just enjoy her presence.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many along my journey (God, family, friends & colleagues) that have played their part in my successes through support, mentorship, love and encouragement.

I will always remember reading the book Good to Great by Jim Collins in college. The book quoted ““For, in the end, it is impossible to have a great life unless it is a meaningful life. And it is very difficult to have a meaningful life without meaningful work.”

If I had to give a single shoutout, it would be to my father by choice. He empowered me to have tenacity with integrity in everything I do.
