We had the good fortune of connecting with Chanell Sanders and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chanell, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As an Author, Influencer and Co-Founder of the Dynamic Book Club. When I began this journey my thoughts were always positive knowing that this was my calling, to serve God’s people. I did have the fear of what others would say about my life story and the things I’ve gone through but it was when I realized, I no longer lived in the past. Knowing the steps you have to take to start your own business can be a bit scary, especially as a parent or even a single parent who works a 9 to 5. All these “What if’s” starts to play a factor. That is why it is important to first have a mentor. Someone who’s already taken the risks with a similar background as you.
What should our readers know about your business?
As a bestselling Author / Co-Founder of The Dynamic Book Club. I have created agendas for new and upcoming Authors who has the urge to share their life stories. The Dynamic Book Club is a Non- profit organization I’ve created to connect with women and men to come together and share new books and ideas that has influenced and inspired them to becoming a leader. My organization also provides resources to help in exceeding the steps to becoming a published Author. How I got to where I am today is by staying consistent and always connecting with the community. I’ve learned valuable lessons along the way but what I’ve learned most from those challenging lessons is to always accept the lessons as your faith that comes to strengthen you. My organization is to build to create more leaders in the community by giving others the platform to share their life stories and to break whatever cycle that needs to be broken.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my family and friends comes to visit me. One of my favorite places I’d love to show off would be downtown Tempe, Arizona. Although I am still new to Arizona. There’s always good vibes when I go downtown Tempe. From the extraordinary views, to shopping markets and fun restaurants to not just only eat but playing fun games while eating tasty foods or maybe having delicious cocktails.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout to my Life Coach, Dr. Nicolya Williams who has helped me on my journey to become a published bestselling Author.
