Meet Chip Hanna | Entertainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chip Hanna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chip, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Being gainfully employed doing what you love. In my case playing music.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started playing drums at an early age. As soon as I was old enough I was playing in nightclubs and in every situation I could. I wound up touring the world with some bands and eventually reinventing myself as a singer/guitarist. Don’t be afraid to do whatever it takes to get to the level you want. There is no substitute for hard work. You make your own luck.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them for a ride on the Grand Canyon Railway that departs Williams AZ everyday for the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It’s a day trip and the view is magnificent. Then we would drive down to Prescott AZ and have a nice steak at the Palace Saloon and Steakhouse on Whiskey Row. It is the oldest honky tonk in Arizona and steeped in old west history. The Earps, Doc Holliday and Buckey O’Neill hung out there just to name a few.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mother, Martha Hanna. She always encouraged me and helped when she could. My first memories are of her singing in front of an audience.
