We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the most important factor behind my success is having the blessing of selling an Essential product that is needed in everyday use.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Well that is easy to talk about ourselves LOL We are blessed with the capability to sell to Everyone as we have all of the category’s of appliances in one location . IE Reconditioned , Scratch and Dent , New and High End appliances 🙂 We also sell to the Multifamily and Property Management companies with the basic appliances. They like that we can deliver just one appliance at time and also go upstairs if needed. We also take away the old appliances at no charge 🙂 Any business owner will tell you that they made mistakes along the way . I decided along time ago to do a routine . It takes 65 days to get into a routine but after that it is a habit. So I wake up around 330 and get into the office around 4am. For 2 hours I get 6 hours of work done and do the most important things first 🙂 IE the Banking , the Delivery’s going out and the inventory coming in and what needs to be ordered . I just Love that my Son wants to take over the Business some Day. I taught him that I am not good at everything so I hire people Smarter the Me in certain areas of the company to complete the Best Team we have ever had.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wow such a long question 🙂 I support all of the local restaurants in Tucson so I would go to the Tucson Originals Website for our eating pleasure. we would stop at my favorite Steak restaurant The Tucson Cork for a teriyaki Baseball Cut steak . We would golf at several courses including the Tucson Country Club. Take a look at the newly renovated Old Tucson . Make sure we caught a show at the gaslight theater . there are several other things in Tucson however of course it would depend on the person who was visiting 🙂

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would of course like to thank my Wife and Children for allowing me the time away to achieve my Dreams. My Father for allowing me to follow and exceed what he had taught me in the several years working along side him. Now for my Son to want to take over some day and decided to come to The University of Tucson Appliance a 15 Year college instead of the U of A. Of course the Many People in our community and nonprofits for contacting us and allowing us to Donate to Families in need . We are Blessed to have reconditioned Appliances that help in this regard . However we often Donate New as well 🙂
