Meet Christy Whitman | Lightworker, Transformational Leader, Two-Time New York Times Bestselling Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christy Whitman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christy, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is essential, both personally and professionally, for the simple reason that unless we step out of our existing comfort zone, it’s impossible to grow into our fullest potential. Exploring a new relationship is a risk of the heart. Becoming a parent is a risk of faith. Starting a new business is a risk of time and money. But I believe we take an even greater risk if we choose not to pursue the desires that each of us carries in our hearts.
Twenty years ago, when I quit my high-paying job in corporate America and moved to Montreal, Canada with my then-boyfriend to pursue my passion for life coaching fulltime, it was most definitely a risk – especially considering that I didn’t speak a word of French and had no guarantee that either my new business or our new relationship would thrive. Today, I have been happily married for 15 years, am the mother of two beautiful sons, and have a multi-million dollar business. None of those dreams would have unfolded had I not been willing to embrace risk. And, it is also true that once we understand how to work in the realm of energy, risk-taking becomes less risky.
In my books and in my work as an energy healer and coach, I show people how to align their internal energy with the essence of what they desire, long before they take any external steps toward creating it. When the energy of our beliefs, attitudes, expectations, thoughts and emotions is aligned with the end result we desire to create, we magnetize to us the very opportunities, resources and good timing needed to fulfill those desires.
Everything is created twice. It begins as a thought, and when that thought gathers enough momentum, it manifests into a thing. It’s a risk to choose to believe in that which cannot right now be seen because it’s still in the state of becoming. It’s a risk to have faith in the abundance and benevolence of the universe, but for me, there is no other way to approach this life. I think this is what is meant by the saying, fortune favors the bold. The ultimate risk is to believe in yourself, and this is a risk that is always worth taking.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a master coach who works with spiritual seekers, athletes, celebrities and high performers. For over 25 years, I have studied the universal laws that underlie every act of manifestation and which influence every aspect of business and life. I am proud of the fact that I am a coach’s coach and have certified over 3,000 life coaches through the Quantum Success Coaching Academy, which I founded in 2008. I have published 7 books, two of which have become New York Times bestsellers, and the others international and Amazon bestsellers.
I am currently working on my eighth book, entitled The Flow Factor, and have been invited to pursue a PhD by Public Works through Monarch University in Switzerland. My journey through business has not always been easy, but every step along the way has been a catalyst to my continued growth. From the very start, I made a commitment to always follow my inner guidance, which led me first to becoming an author, then a coach, an energy healer, and, most recently, a messenger of Light. I recently launched my trademark coaching methodology, Flow Factor athletic coaching, and am excited to work with an Arizona team to help them win a championship.
What sets me apart from other authors, coaches, healers and channelers is that I am very open, personable, authentic, and transparent. I use highly relatable stories about the roles I play in real life as a daughter, wife, and mother to help others shift their own lives. I am a coach and a healer. I’m the real deal.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
What a great question! Day one would begin with a visit to AJ’s Fine Foods where I would get us some delicious ice teas, then take her over to The Firm Body Pilates studio to do some fun Pilates mixed with Fit Springs with my friend Jodi Melton. After stopping by HB Wellness for a well-earned protein shake, we would then do some shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square or Kierland Commons, then enjoy a leisurely lunch at Houston’s, Zinc Bistro, or Flower Child. For evening entertainment, we would take in a game played by one of Arizona’s world class sports teams – The Arizona Cardinals, The Phoenix Suns, or the Diamondbacks, depending on the time of year, and perhaps see a concert at the Talking Stick. For a dose of nature and spiritual sustenance, I would take her to Sedona for a couple days of hiking and stay at The Enchantment Resort. Once back in Scottsdale, we would cap off her visit with a luxurious spa day at one of the beautiful resorts in the area, such as The Omni Resort and Spa on Lincoln, The Princess Resort Spa, or Spa at the Camelback Inn.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have been a longtime follower of the work of Abraham-Hicks. They helped me to understand and apply the universal laws of creation, which influenced my coaching philosophy and my life’s work. Their books are required reading and a prerequisite for anyone who is interested in enrolling in my coaching certification program through the Quantum Success Coaching Academy. On a personal level, Esther Hicks inspired within me a desire to become a more direct channel of universal energy and was pivotal in my evolution as a messenger of Light.
