We had the good fortune of connecting with Cici Camacho and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cici, why did you pursue a creative career?
Choosing a career centered around creativity allows me to explore my imagination and share it with others. This, to me, is exciting and brings me so much happiness. I truly believe in only doing things that bring you the joy of a baby duck and creative projects bring out those fun and play vibes plus an immense amount of joy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My team and I create experiences. Whether they’re event experiences or immersive art experiences, we really strive to bring the worlds in our imagination to life. To me, that is what sets us apart. We operate from a place of fun and we all genuinely care about creating experiences that allow people to just sit back, relax and enjoy life.

Getting to this point in our careers takes community and I’m grateful for the people that helped us get here. Collaboration and care for people are how we truly were able to grow and learn what it takes to sustain a business. I wouldn’t necessarily evaluate this life path as easy and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Challenges lead to growth, learning, and even new collaborations so, at the end of each day whether I consider it a good day or a bad day, I’m walking away with gratitude. That is one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned about challenges. No matter how the day/week/year went, the ability to maintain a high level of gratitude is key to changing your life in general.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First things first, I’m taking everyone to Snap City Arizona. It’s a whole vibe in there. They have the cutest, most colorful sets and I could be in there all day creating with friends. After that, I’m tryin’ to re-energize and get some Peixoto coffee. Their seasonal menus just give me life. And of course, we gotta eat so here are some of the places I’m taking my friends to grub. Hash Kitchen (delicious brunch and one of my favorite DJs, DJ Iceman, is there so it’s a must over the weekend.) Jinya Ramen Bar is next level and I love their Ramen. Oh and their tacos are AMAZING. I would also say that no trip to AZ is complete without heading to Sedona and Jerome. I love those two cities. They’re unique and historic. There are so many amazing places to go in AZ that I could go on forever, but I’d definitely start with these.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m grateful to anyone and everyone that has taken a moment out of their day to show love to the projects my team and I have put together whether it’s been through a like/follow on social media, the purchase of a ticket, contributing as a partner or just wishing us success. It is all appreciated and my heart is full to have people like that in my life. DJ Iceman, Babe & Butter, Em, Super, and Ray are just a couple that come to mind.
