Meet Dallin Simonton | Co-Founder of Nexstar Homes

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dallin Simonton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dallin, what do you attribute your success to?
I think the most important factor behind our success is having the absolute best team. People would be blown away from the talent, knowledge and work ethic of everyone at this company and all those behind the scenes. We brought a lot of our people over from the Custom Home side of building so many of the team have built large, Multi-million dollar homes. This translates over to incredible attention to detail and knowledge when it comes to our homes.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am most proud of our mottos which have been: Custom Home Quality for Everyone and Building Happiness. Our goal at Nexstar has been trying to figure out how we can build a quality home like those that we built at Starwood Custom Homes and make them affordable enough for the majority. We have been able to figure out keeping the quality of the home high while keeping costs in line or lower then all those around us. Building Happiness sounds cliché, But is an actual goal of ours and something we say In our decision making here. We have had multiple situations come up where when were trying o find a solution we pondered over how can we fix this to where we build happiness for our clients. It helps put us in the mindset of doing everything we can to make the process of buying a new home as easy and stress free as possible. I have had jobs where I didn’t believe in the overall goal of the company and it made it so hard to get up and go to work. So, I wanted to be apart of a job where I truly believed in what I was doing. I love what we do here at Nexstar and I love the impact we are able to make on the community. I believe that these mottos and goals really set us apart from others.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I could write an entire book on the support, mentorship and encouragement I have received in this Journey. First and foremost would be sweet wife with her encouragement and patience with all the early mornings and late nights. Everyone needs a rock and she has been mine. My partners: Jake, Josh and Austin, have been incredible to work alongside and great source of support. Each one of them bring their own talents, expertise and amazing leadership to this company that I do my best to replicate and learn from. Also a book that changed my life: Atomic Habits by James Clear. The idea that small consistent habits makes a massive difference changed my home life and work life for the better more then I can state in words. These are just a few of the great people and things that have offered support and guidance but, I am so grateful to everyone in my life and everyone in this company for their support to me over these last few years.
