We had the good fortune of connecting with David Bergman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi David, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe that the most important factor behind my success is persistence. I’ve been a professional photographer for 30 years. In any creative field, you deal with a lot of rejection. I don’t like to take “no” for an answer and keep pushing my way into doing the work that I love.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Many small increments add up to giant leaps over time. I push myself to grow and learn as a photographer every time I pick up a camera. Even if it’s 1% better than yesterday, the power of compound interest leads to incredible results.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in New York City and you can find anything you want here. You can see the top concerts, spend time in the park, or have the best sushi delivered to your apartment in the middle of the night. It’s all at our fingertips.
