We had the good fortune of connecting with Doc Nester and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Doc, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As I was honorably discharged I quickly found that there was little to no support system that was veteran centric outside the military. So we founded a nonprofit to help transition veterans into civilian life. WITH MOTORCYCLES!!!

We found it was needed even more than we could see on the surface and it’s been going strong since 2020.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our statement: A collective of motorcycle enthusiasts, rallying together to promote community, and well being amongst veterans and supporters.

We do so much more but our statement stands true!
I have obtained quite a few testimonials from our veteran family we have grown to love and support.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Two things!

If they enjoy riding and lots of people.
Sturgis!! It’s the finest riding in the world and it’s a massively celebrated motorcycle rally for 82 years.

On the other hand I enjoy what we call the 3 day effect.
Camping, hiking riding, no cell service, no groups of more than 5-6 and lots of time to reflect and enjoy nature on a river, mountain or a lake. A quality reset of the life battery.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There is quite a few people that I could mention as it’s a family and team but, In the beginning it was those who believed in Throttle Therapy before anyone and that’s 100%
