Hi Drew, why did you pursue a creative career?
My journey into the world of creative technology was quite serendipitous. While my day job revolves around working on a Low Code Workflow Automation Platform, it was by sheer accident that I stumbled upon the world of art and creativity through leveraging new artificial intelligence to generate golf course landscapes and post them on social media.

I have always had a love for technology, and in my free time, I enjoyed exploring new advancements and finding ways to apply them in unconventional ways. As a golf enthusiast, I was curious to see how I could merge these passions to create something interesting for others enjoyment. To my amazement, the results were nothing short of incredible.

What began as a playful experiment with generative AI quickly evolved into a full-blown creative project. Harnessing the power of this cutting-edge technology, I developed my Instagram bot that generates and posts images, names, and descriptions of fictional golf courses from random locations around the world. The bot executes on its own every-night so it is a complete surprise for everyone who follows, including myself.

The accidental nature of this project serves as a reminder that sometimes the most remarkable ideas and innovations can arise from simply experimenting with technology and applying it to our interests. Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible people and exploring innovative technologies, which have greatly contributed to my growth as a professional. What sets me apart from others in the field is my unwavering enthusiasm for collaboration, innovation, and the joy of learning from others.

One of the core principles I’ve embraced in my professional journey is to always say “yes” to new opportunities and challenges. This open-minded approach has enabled me to learn from various experiences, take risks, and ultimately, discover my passion for blending creativity and technology. I’m incredibly proud of the unique projects I’ve been able to create, such as the AI-generated golf course Instagram bot, which has garnered a lot of attention and admiration.

For a weekend trip, I would focus on creating a memorable and enjoyable experience that combines the area’s highlights with quality time spent together.

On Saturday morning, we’d head out for a round of golf on one of Cape Cod’s picturesque courses, taking in the beautiful coastal scenery and enjoying some friendly competition. After working up an appetite on the greens, we’d grab a delicious lunch at DJ’s Wings in Hyannis, indulging in their mouthwatering buffalo wings and catching up on each other’s lives.

In the afternoon, we would set out on an oyster-shucking adventure, immersing ourselves in the local seafood culture and enjoying this hands-on activity. Following our day of outdoor fun, we’d spend the evening gathered around an outdoor firepit in the backyard. The kids would roast marshmallows for s’mores, while the adults savor some refreshing libations or sample local beers.

On Sunday, we’d explore some of the nearby attractions, such as beautiful beaches or charming local shops, before capping off the weekend with a relaxed meal at a local seafood restaurant.
