We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric J Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eric J, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business was a culmination of observing critical gaps in the way we approach technology and human experiences. In the rush of the digital age, there’s a tendency to be dazzled by new advancements, often sidelining the human elements that these technologies are meant to serve.

My diverse background, from my foundational years in Ecuador to navigating the complexities of tech and innovation sectors, equipped me with a unique perspective. I’ve seen firsthand how, when technology is applied thoughtfully, it can complement and enhance our shared human experiences rather than overshadow them.

This realization formed the foundation of my venture. My vision was to create a bridge between the rapid digital transformations and the intrinsic human touch points they intersect with. More than just a business, it was about championing a future where technology harmonizes with our shared human values. It’s a commitment to ensure that as we leap forward into the digital realm, we remain anchored in the core of what makes us human, enriching both our technological and personal narratives.

What should our readers know about your business?
Change Maker LLC operates at the intersection of humanity and technology. In this rapidly advancing digital age, I’m dedicated to ensuring that the essence of human experience remains at the forefront. At the core of my approach is a blend of empathy, foresight, and strategic innovation. Instead of simply analyzing trends, I delve deep into understanding how these trends shape human behaviors, desires, and needs.

What fills me with pride and excitement is my unwavering belief in the transformative potential of both individuals and organizations. Through Change Maker LLC, I’ve embarked on initiatives that empower businesses to see the future not as a mere challenge but as an invaluable opportunity to reiterate their commitment to their most vital asset: their people.

Establishing Change Maker LLC was a journey filled with introspection and external observations. Drawing from personal experiences, global trends, and the pulse of various communities, I discerned a need—a pressing requirement for businesses to integrate technological advancements with truly human-centric strategies. Like any venture, it wasn’t a straightforward path. But the vision of enacting tangible change turned each challenge into a rewarding learning experience.

Among the myriad lessons I’ve gathered, one stands out: the power of staying rooted in one’s purpose. In moments of uncertainty or complexity, revisiting the foundational mission—enhancing human experiences in a rapidly digitizing world—has consistently provided clarity and direction.

To the world, I want to communicate this: amidst all the technological advancements and paradigm shifts, at the heart of every initiative, community, or innovation, there should be ‘people’. The narrative at Change Maker LLC isn’t just about tech-led solutions; it’s about fostering connections, championing empathy, and picturing a future where technology serves to enrich, not overshadow, our shared human experiences.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For the last 13 years, Phoenix has welcomed us with open arms. We truly enjoy what the Valley of the Sun has to offer for people that visit us around the year.

My favorite place to get a morning fix, is Galapagos Coffee Shop in Gilbert. They have amazing coffee and pastries to get your day started.

Follow that with an experience in downtown Phoenix, with Cibo Pizzeria, especially in their outdoor patio with a glass of wine and friends.

Finally wrap up the evening with amazing desert in any of the great gelato places around the Valley.

For folks that are in town during the Fall and Spring months, a nice hike around South Mountain and Camelback is always a plus. Especially early in the morning to capture the sun rise around the oasis that is Phoenix in the desert.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My utmost appreciation and shoutout goes to my incredible wife, Lorena Rodriguez. When she established her first business, Little Legacies Studio, I was in awe of her tenacity and vision. Her journey served not just as an inspiration but as a beacon for me as I embarked on creating Change Maker LLC.

Lorena’s wisdom, garnered from her entrepreneurial experiences, was invaluable. More than her guidance, it was her unwavering belief in the potential of my ideas that transformed them from mere contemplations into a tangible reality. She didn’t just see the vision; she fueled its fire, pushing me to actualize it and make a lasting difference. Just as she has been doing with her own business, touching the lives of many.
