We had the good fortune of connecting with Ethan Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ethan, why did you pursue a creative career?
I love being able to express myself as an individual creative everyday. The freedom to wake up and decide how or what I want to capture and do that day .

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what really sets my work apart is my ability to find compositions and recognize good light out in natural environments. TO get where I am today professionally took a lot of hard work. Over the last four years, I’ve invested the majority of my money and time into learning, shooting, and networking. While it was not easy, my love for my art and career makes it very inspiring and motivational to see how far I have come so quickly. I remain very grateful for the experiences and jobs I have already been able to come across from such a young age. If I could tell the world one thing about my story and brand, it’s that if you have a passion for something, figure out how to monetize it. If you do what you love everyday, you never feel like you’re working.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a very outdoorsy and adventurous person. I would take them hiking on either camelback or flatiron, then take them out to Saguaro or Canyon lake. Downtown Scottsdale and Fashion square are a few more favorites for shopping or restaurants.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate my success to my parents, who were extremely supportive as I grew up in giving me the mental strength I needed to go an untraditional route.
