We had the good fortune of connecting with Eva Savageau and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eva, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe that my business has been so successful due to the fact that my patients can see and know without a doubt how passionate I am for what I do and how much I truly care about every single person who walks through my door. Even if it’s a phone call from a potential patient, I will spend as much time as I can in giving them guidance, suggestions and referrals, if it is for something out of my scope of practice. I will always continue to give my time, knowledge, empathy and sincere devotion to as many lives as I am blessed to come across. That truly brings me joy which in turn brings me success.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My practice specializes in treatments of both chronic and acute pain through advanced NeuroMuscular Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy. What sets me apart from others is that I am one of the few specialists in my field who holds the title as a Certified NeuroMuscular Therapist. It requires an extensive amount of advanced anatomy and medical education. Along with the fact that I don’t believe in treating symptoms. A person can go just about anywhere to treat symptoms and unfortunately have very temporary relief, if any. My main focus is getting to the cause of a persons chronic or acute pain as well as re training muscle memory and re-setting the Nervous System. I am very excited to have such a successful practice, and very honored to be voted as the winner of the AZ Foothills Magazine Best of Our Valley for Best Alternative Medicine for 2020! Getting to where I am today was not nearly as hard as I thought it would be, but it did take a lot of work. I did a ton of research and read everything I possibly could in order to learn absolutely everything I needed to do to start my practice on my own, and I did it! I think this is more of a revelation than a lesson, but what I believe to be true through my journey, is that every single person has a purpose, and it’s ok if you haven’t’ figured out your purpose yet. Embrace the journey that leads you to it. I strongly believe that when a person taps into their passions, abilities and talents, and absorbs as much knowledge as possible in those desires, they will then feel complete passion, love, dedication and joy in what their true purpose is. What I would like the world to know is that as the owner of the NeuroMuscular Pain & Wellness Center, I truly value every single patient who walks through the door. I am very passionate about serving others through faith, prayer, motivation, encouragement, health and well-being. Most importantly doing what I love, treating patients who are suffering from chronic/acute pain and watching the miracle of physical and emotional healing take place.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Well, I’d like to start out by saying I have always been a free spirit, passionately adventurous and spur of the moment kind of gal! I am also very health conscious about what goes into my body so I don’t go out to eat very often. I love to cook, and I love spices and flavor, but when I do go out to eat, it has to be my all time favorite, Indian Food!! Mornings would start out with dandelion tea followed with my delicious freshly ground organic pressed coffee!! I always make sure to get at least 5 to 7 cups of dark leafy greens with beets every day, so lunch would either be a huge, delicious, vibrant colored, nutrient filled salad full of deliciousness, or all of that put into my Vitamix with blueberries, agave nectar and fresh squeezed lemon for an amazing sweet/tart shake! Lunch, none other that the Guru Palace in Mesa!! My all time favorite restaurant to eat at. The owners are exceptionally welcoming and the food is amazing! Dinner would be a homemade dish full of flavor and nutrients, followed by organic wine!! Arizona is such a wonderful place! There are so many places to just casually hang out! Old Town Scottsdale is always a fun favorite! There are plenty of beautiful hiking trails, a lovely zoo and fantastic museums. There are always great Theatre performances all over the Valley! Or for more of an adventure, a day trip is always fun especially when it’s in the haunted town of Jerome!! Sedona is always has beautiful and peaceful vibes along with some of the most gorgeous hiking trails, Now for those thrill seekers like me, Flagstaff Extreme will definitely be on the agenda, imagine working your way through obstacle courses and zip lines set in the tall Ponderosa Pines up to 60 feet off the ground! There is always something fun and exiting to do in Arizona!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shout out to my amazing and loving husband Adam. He has given me so much love, support and encouragement throughout every single moment of our lives together. He truly made it possible for me to start my own practice. I also want to give a shout out to the brilliant W.D. Peter Lane. He was my anatomy, physiology and pathology instructor, and Director of the NeuroMuscular Therapy Center of New Mexico. He personally certified me as a NeuroMuscular Therapist. He was and will always be the inspiration behind my career path.
