We had the good fortune of connecting with Ezekiel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ezekiel, how do you define success?
Genuine happiness. It doesn’t matter what career path you decide just as long as you wake up everyday and love what you’re doing that is success in my book.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I remember going to my first concert when I was 8 years old in 2009. My parents took me to the Anybody Killa Mudface tour at the sonar in Baltimore. Even being that young I remember that I was mesmerized by the appeal of someone being able to control your emotions with a microphone and a stage. I went back home and started pretending to be my favorite artists with a karaoke system I got. Eventually that turned into me writing my own songs and pretending to perform them on our picnic table for a crowd of pine trees. By 2011 I was releasing videos on YouTube of me freestyling with my cousin. I wrote multiple “ mixtapes” that I never got the chance to record because I didn’t have the skills or material. In 2016 I moved to Arizona from Maryland. In 2017 I got my first microphone and home studio bundle to start recording and by the end of 2018 I put out three mixtapes. Simple & Complex, The game of Life, and Lifeless. In 2019 I did the Grind Mode Cypher in Las Vegas. In 2021 I released my fourth mixtape Basement Tapes and performed at the notorious festival The Gathering Of The Juggalos. Later that year I performed my first headline show close to my hometown in Maryland. Recently in 2022 I have released my fifth mixtape, If You Need Me, Just Call Me.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d absolutely love to shoutout my family. Mainly my mom and dad, without them my diversity with music would never have became what it is now. I remember being little and my mom listening to stuff like Guns and Roses, Nirvana, and Green Day while at the same time my dad was letting me listen to ICP with the agreement of not telling her know. I also want to shout out my brothers. They make me want to be a better person everyday and strive to be the greatest at what i do.
