We had the good fortune of connecting with Faith Marlow and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Faith Marlow, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Writing has always been something I loved to do. Taking the leap to share my work with the world seemed like the natural next step. When I received the validation that people enjoyed reading my stories, there was no turning back.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been writing professionally for about ten years, During that time, I have learned so much and continue to learn because the things that worked five years ago, or even a year ago, may no longer benefit you. This is especially true when it comes to marketing and getting your work in front of readers- the right readers who are interested in what you create. This has been my biggest challenge. Fortunately, I have been working with Partners in Crime book services to help with promoting. This will not only be helpful with my current titles but for new releases down the road.

I am very excited to be a part of the Paranormal Romance anthology, “Endless Moonlight”. It will be available on May 2, 2023. My story was written during quarantine and inspired by the music of Phoebe Bridgers. It will be my first, but hopefully not my last, release this year.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
With temperatures warming up in East Tennessee, I would probably go to one of the many parks or natural areas close by. There is so much natural beauty and history in this area that you could spend a weekend sightseeing.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my fellow indie authors and readers who chose to read indie work. I have had so much support over the years that it would be impossible to name everyone.
