Meet Gabi Gonzalez | Petite model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabi Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabi, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
The most important habit that has been instilled in me is time management. I have never been late for any commitment due to this. I am always 15 minutes early and have a very good reputation for being someone people can rely on.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I model almost full-time. I get many compliments on how professional I am. I was even awarded “Most Professional” by my agency, Contagion Media Agency and I am very proud of that.

Being professional sets you apart from many young models. They recognize my maturity when on set or when backstage. They know that I will never misrepresent whatever brand I am modeling.

I started modeling when I was about 14 so at first it was hard to understand why I had to be on time and act a certain way. I was a teen that wanted no responsibility. My mom taught me that not caring is what will stop me from getting ahead in modeling or life for that matter. It has really paid off for me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend visited, I would take them to the zoo! I am a huge animal lover and am studying to become a doctor of veterinary medicine. I also love to visit local hot spots and restaurants so for sure we would visit Dos Gordos Mexican Restaurant and Mimi Forno Italian Restaurant. Both my friend and I also love to shop so a mall day is definitely on the itinerary along with a stop at AZ Designers Studio in downtown Phoenix. They showcase lots of local designers.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom is my biggest supporter. She is always front and center at all my events and she is always encouraging me to follow my dreams.
