Hi Gil, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
As a small business owner, I experience constant wins and defeats. Losses may discourage some individuals, but for me, they are what motivate me. In life, things will be hard, and you may find yourself in a situation where you want to give up. Life is not easy it was never supposed to be easy. The reason why I wanted to start my own business was because I did not want to work for someone else again and I wanted the flexibility to spend time with my family.  This is my why. Giving up is not an option for me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business IGO-MOBILE Car Detailing is a custom mobile auto detailing company serving the greater phoenix valley. Whether you need to have your vehicle washed or detailed, we at IGO-MOBILE have you covered. As our services are mobile, we’ll go directly to your home in order to clean your vehicles. Our first-rate customer service sets us apart from other detailing companies. We are your luxury detailing concierge service.

Dropping everything to start your own business is hard work in any environment, but it is completely worth it. It’s stressful, draining, all-consuming and exhausting, however, the benefits can be incredible. I can now spend time with my wife and daughters, I have security for future generations, and I get to choose who I work with. I wouldn’t have exchanged the last five years for any job.

I have only gotten so far as a business owner by constantly improving and learning. To overcome personal and professional challenges, I accept the fact that a challenge will always be there. You may think you’ve fix a problem but there is always more around the corner, it is constant. You have to accept that you have to change so the business can change. All you can do is deal with the challenges head on and learn from them. That is the only way to better yourself and improve. Our biggest challenge is the weather. Summer and winter have their own challenges, and the only thing you can do is prepare and adapt.

I want the world to know that I am here to serve this community. I know that not everyone has the time to maintain their vehicles, but if someone needs a service I am here for them. I am a highly detailed and motivated person who values time as a resource. I am truly blessed to be doing what I love as a career, and I am even more blessed that I get to serve my community. will and take care of their assets. I am here to provide a service.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend was in town, after picking them up I would take them for a nice dinner at Fogo de Chao one of the best brazilian steakhouse restaurants in the state. Later we would head to Torch Cigar on high street to catch up at a lounge. Next day we would go 4 wheeling in lake pleasant with my Jeep and get lost, one of the best past times. After adventuring we would head to Zinc Bistro in Scottsdale Quarter and enjoy the cuisine. Next more exploring downtown and phoenix, there is so many fun places and great food in AZ.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes to my team. I truly want to thank them for the hard work they’ve put in for almost five years with my business. I can talk about the many books and organizations in Arizona that have helped me on my journey, but first and foremost I thank my team. We all believe in the same goal and want to truly do something great for our community. Having these people support me is a huge accomplishment in itself, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
