Meet Ines Silva | Fashion Designer – 100% Handmade without machines

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ines Silva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ines, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
At ISART DESIGN we always think that the key to success is to love what we do. Love and persistence are very important ingredients for the evolution of a business. Brands are stories and not just brands, stories of people who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Here every day we fight for that, to pass our message and a little of our soul to each person, and it’s an honor to know that other people identify so much with us and our work. At the end of the day, that’s what fills our hearts. Our life mission is to spread art.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
ISART DESIGN was born in 2010. It is a 100% Handmade clothing brand without the use of machines, very different and special. I’m self-taught, without any course, so automatically super creative I started playing with colors and materials. We explore a bohemian style with a fusion of stones, leather, metals, and other materials. We are all different, and that’s what makes us unique, so the main objective when we started was to create clothes that fit all sizes and are made to order. Today, we continue with that objective. We love to exaggerate the details and completely escape from minimalism, adding to that our exotic essence. Here we have so much creativity that it’s hard to turn it off, ideas come all the time. Today, I realize that my main inspiration over this time is the fusion of jewelry and clothing and how I managed to make them into one. This whole adventure was a long walk, full of laughter, crying, sore hands, sleepless nights, working in the rain, and a lot of travel. It was not easy to fight for this dream, but with each challenge we became stronger and more stable, and today we laugh a lot at our stories. We are very proud of our evolution and we will never give up.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of the most mystical and magical places in the world is the Grand Canyon, which makes our eyes burn with its colors. I can’t think of anything better and more exciting than witnessing the gifts that nature gives us with the ones we love the most. We give a lot of value to nature, and that is the biggest attraction of each place. And as an artist, this place inspires us a lot. One of the last designs we created was inspired by Arizona.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My partner Rodrigo is the other half of this long journey in art, without him many goals would not have been achieved. We always leave everything without thinking much and set out around the world in search of continuing to evolve professionally. He brought me that part, of stepping out of my comfort zone, of accepting the risks, the challenges, because I am very mind on the moon, but with 2 feet on the earth. His support was very important, we turned a love story into a crazy fashion adventure, and we share the same pride in this brand. Today, we manage our personal life together with our professional life, and I think it’s already part of us and we can’t separate it anymore.
