We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaiah Polk and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaiah, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe that if you have a product, dream, or a goal that should be shared to the community or even to the world that you should take the risk. And as we say today “shoot your shot”. Taking the risk is the fear that most people have because of other people‘s opinions but I would rather take the risk of knowing that I put it on the line and I actually went for something rather than in the future saying “I should have could have and would have” Once you become over that fear and you’re starting to do your own thing you will see your life start to change and even some of your best friends disappear and of course people outside they don’t know you will start to notice will say bad things And some will say good things but it’s because you’re becoming an outsider.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is me knowing that I had this particular idea in my head and I actually followed through with it. Through good Times, bad Times, and rumors being spread. It’s come along way because I did not rush into putting out footage or content. I was patient making sure my craft was correct before I put them in certain videos. Because “I’ve learned anything fast does not last”. And no matter what nobody can duplicate it. I believe I do take credit for being the first person in Arizona to even come out with a show idea that’s made it this far. Only challenge to overcome is myself and getting the “Real20sLife” Show Project to get aired. This project is definitely something to watch for because the youth needs to see what it’s like or how to even start your own brand or become your own business person even when friends & family tell you you can’t do it I feel like today’s society people listen to other peoples opinions and easily does not follow through with their actions or they get depressed. Because their dreams are in the back of their heads and they’re not where they want to be in life when they look back at it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LOL if my friends were to visit I would definitely take them to my favorite brunch spot which is the @HashKitchen There are other brunch box that I do like and love that I would take them to but the main one is definitely the hash.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to thank the main person that stuck with me through the beginning of this project at times he has definitely seen the positive side during the bad times and seeing my project going places I did not see then that I am starting to see pay off now @Tracegproductions

Also I would like to thank my mentors for giving me the knowledge on how to start re-organizing my project pitch and basically telling me it’s OK to restart your project and build it back up to the way that you should have it. Also the main thing is telling me that the route that I’m going is the right way just keep re-perfecting it until you get it right
